Visible superficial dorsal vein question

Hello,

I have a question regarding cock rings (c-rings) and potential injuries. So currently I wear a stretchy silicone c-ring after my jelqing sessions and edge with it on for about 20 minutes and while doing so the coloration looks fine. I then leave it on for another 30 minutes or so and sometimes my penis will turn darker but not to an extent that I think I should be concerned. After I take it off, the color of my penis is never abnormal or dark.

Recently I started noticing that I can see the superficial dorsal vein of my penis (that vein that is underneath the superficial fascia). I do not know if this is a sign that the c-ring may be too tight and causing some sort of damage to it or if this is just something normal that may happen while doing PE. I do not have any pain there, but I don’t want the increase in visibility meaning that its increasing in size and/or a precursor to something, thus meaning I should stop wearing it after my jelqing routines.

I’m sure the more senior members can shed some light on this, but in my own experience reading the posts on this forum that can sometimes be a side-effect of doing PE. I’m not even close to having a veiny dick, but they’re definitely more noticeable now than when I first started.

I think it is the superficial dorsal vein because 1) it is definitely a vein but not a vein in the skin part of my penis (since it doesn’t have the bluish color like the veins in the skin). 2) Also it runs along top of my dick like I figured the superficial dorsal vein does. Also the whole vein is more prominent and not just where the c-ring is placed.

The dorsal vein is probably growing from your PE efforts. I’ve been trying to get mine to pop out but to little avail. I’ve come from 4.75”EG to about 5.5”. I notice it’s more pronounced when I do downward bends.. If there is no pain I’d say your golden, and lucky.
