The same supllier as makes the 2” industrial strength, single sided (either fuzz or hook) Velcro, also makes a velcro strip about 7/8” wide that has fuzz one side and hook on the other side. (This, of course saves on thickness and of course, bulk, for stealth.) I use 7/8” x 1” grippers applied directly to the fuzz side. Hanging strap is as usual, just a little shorter. The friction area of the half sized gripper pads, I have found, is sufficient for the lesser hanging pull used for an A.D.S. No clamping required.
Instead of cloth material for the first wrap application ,I use a 2 in. wide strip of a soft paper towel which grips better, stays “flatter” and is very comfortable.
I use bungy string to a knee loop.
