What are long term risks of Caverject, Alprostadil PGE-1 use?

It is said that: “Alprostadil injection should not be used as a sexual aid by men who do not have ED. If this medicine is not used properly, permanent damage to the penis and loss of the ability to have erections could result.”

Can anyone explain what they mean by this? How can alprostadil damage the penis? How risky is it?

I’ve been using it for a year or so, maybe once or maximum 2x a week and I’m worried now.

I can still get morning boners, but the regular erections fade fast and are inferior to caverject induced ones.

I don’t want to ruin my penis, but I want to understand logically how it can “ruin it”?

The major risk of injecting PGE 1 is over-dosing which can cause preapism which can damage penile tissue. The other risk is that the injections could cause scar tissue which could result in peyronies - bent dick. However, twice a week and alternating sides should not be a high risk.

It’s possible that continued use over time could result in reducing the effectiveness. Not sure if there is any evidence to this happening, but in my case, after three years of injecting, Trimix became less effective and over time was no longer helping. However, my diabetes induced ED may have worsened so I can’t say which was the cause.

So DTWarren. How have you been able to aid your ED given that your ED has become worse. Have you employed other methods or approach to supporting your ED.

Interesting, have you noticed growth from PGE-1? How long do you usually get erection for after injection?

Once Trimix stopped working, I started using a vacuum erection device and a tight constriction band to generate and maintain my erection. However the tension band causes my erection to begin loosing sensitivity after ten minutes and. Needs to be removed after 20 minutes.

When Trimix was working properly for three years, my Hard erections were fully developed in 10 to 15 minutes and lasted for about an hour. I never felt that it contributed to my Gains.

Why do you think trimix stopped working?

Diabetes results in excess blood sugar to leave plaque in arteries which affects blood flow, it also affects the sensitivity of nerve endings in the penis - Peripheral neuropathy. In addition excess blood sugar causes autonomic Neuropathy which affects involuntary Bodily functions, including the sexual response. Accordingly, my ED may have worsened due to one or more of the above.

Hey guys I been injecting small doses of caverject mixed with IGF 1 2 3 pmg mgf together in one vial to avoid damages regards to scarf tissue and 4 days a week I am doing it
Is this bad ?
