What is the best way to progress with the BM?

Ok here is the deal.
I am doing manual stretching and jelqing and for some days now I have added a BathMate in the end of my session.
I started slow and I am adding minutes.
I did it like this:
Day 1 : 3m
Day 2: 3m
Day 3 : OFF
Day 4: 3,5m
Day 5 : 3,5m
Day 6: OFF
Day 7: 4m
Day 8: 4m
Day 9: OFF
Day10: 4,5m
I am adding 0,5 mins every 3d workout and I can already see gains in girth.

I ll do this until I ll reach 5mins.
Then I think most people recommend after 5mins set to take out the BM and massage for like 1 min and put it back on in order to do the next set and so on.
And that the most we should do is like 3X5 mins. Am I correct?

Now when I ll reach the 5m… then how am I gonna progress from there?
Should I do the 5min set and then take it off… and put it back on for like 0,5 mins and keep adding volume for the 2nd set as I progressed with the 1st set?

I always like being careful and adding things slowly and I am finding that its also more productive.

I would recommend staying at 3 - 5min sets for at least a month and then reevaluate. 15 minutes per workout for a relative newbie should be more than enough to get continued gains for awhile.

It’s really good that you want to progress slowly, that attitude will serve you well in the long run if you stick with it.

I gained my first 1/4” of girth as a newbie using the bathmate and jelqing. My advice is to stay disciplined with the pressure and also the time. It’s too easy to pump it “one more time” over and over. More is rarely better for a newbie pumper.

Remember, just because you can take higher pressures doesn’t mean you should use higher pressures.

Getting carried away with time and pressure will cause your gains to stall. It sounds like what your doing is working well for you, so don’t sabotage yourself by rushing things.

Anyway, that’s my unoriginal thinking on the subject matter.

I missed a question and forgot to ask a couple of my own.

Yes for now, I would pump 5 min then take it off for 30 seconds at least and then return to the tube. Some guys rest up to 10 minuted in between sets. Some jelqing in between sets is also beneficial but not completely necessary.

How high are you currently taking the pressure in the BM?

Are you entering the tube erect or flacid?

Thanks for the replies. It seems we have the exact “methodical-slow” thinking in PE.

The pressure I am using is LOW…. and it will stay that way for a lot of weeks.
The pressure is one FULL pump of the tube towards by body and at the last minute of the set I am re pumping 1/2 more.
I am always entering the tube with at least 80% Erection and I keep watching porn in order to maintain as much erection as I can for the entire set.

Entering the tube flaccid and Jelqing between pumping did not work for me …
The only thing that seems is working is using it only in the end of my PE session.
I also need to say that what boosted my sessions is when I am finishing with the pump , I am edging a little bit like 5 mins.

Same here, pumping soft never worked for me. I could never even pump up to my normal erection size

Disciplined consistency is where it’s at for pumping for sure.

That was always my downfall in the past. I’m finally at the point where I know I could pump or clamp and not get carried away. Manuals only are currently working for me quite well so I don’t see a need for devices at the moment. I do miss the fun of pumping or clamping tho. I know in the long run, I’ll definitely be adding something to the routine. Most likely pumping and mayyyybe clamping late in my career after I maximize my possible gains from pumping
