what type of ruler do you all use

wood plastic or cloth ruler and which is best to get the most accurate measurements

I would use a wood ruler well I do

I use a carpenters tape measurer.(you know the yellow one you pull out)

As long as it has that 1/16” dead space before it starts measuring I like it.

I’m using a clear plastic ruler with the 1/3 blank at the beginning, and also a kind of material/plastic tape, not a retractable one but one you just role up, I do check it often in case it has stretched though…

I’m using a 12” steel ruler (…just to make me feel even smaller - lol).

I already had one lying around before PE, but I do think it’s best because it is easier to make BP measurements than a tape, and there’s no blank at the beginning.

In my opinion a tape measure will give you more accurate results.

A steel ruler with 1/8” dead space at the beginning. The carpenter tape doesn’t look to accurate for me, actually I have 5 rulers here, I measure it with all of them and choose the one that sounds more logical to me >.>

I once used rulers but it ran me crazy. I had ten rulers. So I did extensive research and decided that the tape measure would com my nerves.

I use a clearish-blue ruler, i grinded the blank space off. I want to know exactly how long the ole boy is.

Is it wood or plastic? How did you grind it? <.<

I use a plastic ruler with a customized sleeve. The sleeve’s made from paper with clearly defined inch & 1/2 inch marks and numbers on it for the purposes of taking photo’s, as my digital camera isn’t the best.

It also enables me to have zero set at the very base of the ruler, thus eliminating the 1/4” dead space.

The markings also run up to 8” which is my current target.

I’ve heard that a few people just cut off the dead space but be careful not to leave any sharp edges!!

I also ground off the dead speace so I get a more accurate reading.

I use a tape measure ,I think its more comfortable to use .

It has a tab on the end so its not so painfull when pressing against the pubic bone. Then I use a string and wrap around for girth and check it with the tape to give me a accurate reading.
