When should I change?

First of all, sorry for my English, I just moved from the Spanish section of the forum (It seems that there’s not as much support as here)
I’m starting again with the newbie routine, but here is my question: When may I implement the use of a pump? I already read articles about the recommended routines on the forum but I haven’t found anything about how to adapt it to the basics.
