Is it really that much more dangerous not to?

I have used a rice sock, a heating pad and an IR lamp in various PE activities.

I believe heat is a very important and productive part of PE. I think a warm tendon stretches easier, and is less injury prone, than a cold one. That goes for any body part (CC, CS, skin, etc.).

In my personal opinion it is very important to warm up. The warm down is not as important, but should be done also. Let me ask you this, would you go straight to the gym and start lifting weights or running without warming up? Don’t think so. This is the same thing. There is one thing that I have learned in my months being at Thunder’s Place: The “Vets” will not lead you astray and they say warm up is very important.

I will give you a personal experience on this issue, there have been several times in the beginning that I did not warm up and I would always get the bleeding out the end of my dick. Warming up every time I do jelg prevents this for me. Also, warming up gives me a bigger and longer plump for the day.

It probably does help prevent injuries since it ‘loosens up’ all the tissues involved, atleast in the part that gets heated. I believe it has helped me. I do a hot cup of water dunk for atleast five minutes before stretching or jelqing. You can really notice all your veins popping out and your unit gets all spongy and plump in a good way.

The last thing you want to do is get injured and then set you back. In retrospect, you’ll be pissed you didn’t warm up.

And warming down is just as important.

Do some more research on the forum and you’ll see that most vets will agree that warm up/down are important.

I found since I started stretching in the last 2 weeks that a warm wrap is important. I find it loosens my penis more allowing me to stretch further and harder without the feeling I’m going to damage myself.

I was skeptical at first but I can see now that I lessen the possibility of injuring myself so I do it every time I do PE. I always go for the highest temperature my penis can tolerate (without burning myself of course).

I never hot wrap and probably never will. Big reason why I don’t wrap is because I don’t want my parents to ask difficult questions. I personally find it enough to get an erection before the workout.

I hot wrap during my entire workout. I am able to do this because I am a pumper and I wrap the vacuum cylinder in an electric heat pad while I pump. I consider it so important, that I won’t pump without the heat pad. So when the heat pad burns out, I buy another right away, before my next pump session.
