Wikipedia has this whole thing on penile enlargement. I was reading it and a came across this,

“In many African and Middle eastern tribes, they have a tradition of jelqing or even stretching their penises extensively. However, it is well-known that many in these tribes are impotent and unable to get an erection as a result of these exercises.”

I usually trust Wikipedia, but I am not sure this time.

NeonBagPipe, thats the first time I heard about the erectile dysfunction within those tribes. It would be possible if indeed jelqing were based on some African,Middle Eastern Tribe practices. I believe that theory was debunked somewhere possibly even in a Thundersplace post. Although I think I have seen pictures of the African tribes and hanging excercises. PE carries a risk, we all should know that.

I think that poor living conditions, mal nutrition, disease, and lack of education on healthy living could be a few reasons for erectile dysfunctions. Many tribes also use very potent natural types of drugs on a regular basis which could be a reason for impotency.

Plus I hear that some of the exercises that they do are pretty rigorous. I guess you could call it “extreme” PEing. lol

If I had PE as much as I have lurked, I would be hung like a donkey.

The origins of jelq seems pretty much rife with bullshit to me, so I don’t think you will get any precise names on anything. Because there aren’t, most likely.

I dont think you’ll get a precise name of a tribe, as I personally think the “tribe” story is BS…

I have seen pictures of tribesmen with flaccid penises nearly dragging on the ground, but I’ve also seen people with giant saucers in their lower lips. I think that sort of think should be considered “body mod” as opposed to PE. I think they must have hung excessive weight without sufficient recovery time over a period of years. If you lift weights carefully with good form and proper recovery periods you can increase the strength and endurance of your muscles without injury, reduction in range of motion, etc. If you do them incorrectly and never rest you can injure yourself, reduce your range of motion and generally damage yourself.

I think the arguement that “people have become impotent by hanging massive weight on their penises, therefore, PE is unhealthy,” is pretty similar to those coaches who used to think weightlifting would inevitably make you tense, tight and “muscle bound.”
