Wrapping before you go to sleep is the best way ….. it’s very difficult to do it after you’ve gone to sleep. ;)
Seriously, doing any PE while you are asleep is generally not a good idea - you need to regularly monitor the status of circulation. After about 20 mins of dangerously diminished circulation, tissue death occurs and we certainly wouldn’t want that - gangrene is not a particularly good look for the penis (or any other part of the body for that matter)!
Sure you can wrap it a bit looser, but then you will lose the efficacy. Also, you will find that it’s uncomfortable, your penis can shrink during the night and the wrap just unravels, or you get an erection and it becomes too painful. Best to do it during the day when you can monitor it regularly.
The jury is still out on how beneficial wraps are. Personally, I always felt that they were good for girth - my base developed noticeably during the time I wrapped regularly …. but that could have also been due to other factors as well - hard to say. These days, I’d be more inclined to use an ADS to keep the penis in an extended state and, in my opinion, it is best used after your workout.
Wrapping does much the same thing as an ADS and is a lot cheaper, but I always found that I could keep a better stretch with an ADS.
