A thought on measuring progress

I (re) started doing PE one month ago, and when I measured to see if there was any result it struck me; gains less than 1cm can’t really be measured. I keep finding that angle, hardness and other things can change the measurement by up to 1cm. It would seem I have gaines a few millimeters since I started but until I’ve seen a full 1cm increase I can’t be sure at all that it’s growing. I’ve been doing the newbie routine for 1 month, and I’ll do it for another month or two. If I haven’t gained 1cm by then I will try hanging instead.

How often do you measure? Some of us find that measuring often, looking for gain, is a psychological negative.

I measure once or twice every month.

Suggestion-

I’m a proponent of BPFSL [Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretched Length] as an indication of progress- BPEL requires wood, and unless it’s a result of Cavaject [even V or C require a personal ‘commitment’], wood is an amalgamation of different events [hydraulics, personal interest, well rested unit- etcetera].
As such, BPEL is a more complex measurement, very useful as a meta measurement but possibly misleading in terms of an ongoing check on simple length/ girth growth [read: increase].

In fact, when doing a BPFSL check, I don’t even use a ruler, but prefer a tally stick, where I simply make a hash mark on the stick [I use paint stirrers], date it and only then check against a ruler or tape.

Keeps me honest.

Try it.

Luck & length.

I just dont really understand that. I mean I have seen AWESOME improvements in my BPFSL ( it went from 16 to over 19 cm in like 6 months) but I dont know how does that reflect my erect gains, which is what I really care anyways.

I mean I have gained around 1 cm in my erect size but over 3 cm in BPSL; can you explain it better to me?

Was (july 07): 5.25 nbp (5.9 bp)X 4.5

July 10 :6.15 nbp (6.65 bp)X 4.8

Goal: 6.75 nbp (7.1 bp) x 5.1 Final goal : 7.25 nbp x 5.3

Reread what I wrote- BPEL isn’t simply about size- it requires a series of identical ‘perfect storms’ to be used in plotting progress- a nearly impossible feat*.

You now have a dick that is verifiably 3cm larger than it was**- you just may not ‘be ready’ for it- your blood pressure may be a smidge too light, the hydraulics may not be finished yet, you may not have been sufficiently aroused to use all of your new length.

I understand that your objective is usable size, not something theoretical- BPFSL isn’t theoretical- it’s simply raw size unfilled.
BPFSL compares to NBP length in that both are data points that do not by their nature address penetration- I don’t know about you, but in some positions I am compressing my fat pad as much as if it were a BPEL measurement.

If you are simply interested in verifying that a particular PE protocol works for length increase, then BPFSL is your most objective measurement.

*Again, unless we’re talking of a Cavaject measurement- which I, by the way, would love to try someday!

**Congratulations on the gains- and you know for a fact that PE works- now you just have to fill up the rest of the balloon.

Generally, gains will appear in BPFSL there before gains in Erect Length. The stretch length measuring is also a bit more consistent, as Erect Length will fluctuate depending on erection quality, etc.

The pressed stretch is independent of any outside influences, save being totally warm and consistent when measuring.

06/21/07 NBP = 7.75(tape) FSL = 7.875 EG = 5.00 Volume= 15.42

09/13/07 NBP = 8.375 FSL = 8.75 EG = 5.38 Volume = 19.29 (+25%)

12/26/07 NBP = 8.625 FSL = 8.75 EG = 5.50 Volume = 20.82 (+35%)

I’ve decided not to measure until I’m sure I’ve made substantial gains - too deflating to measure minor or no gains.

Going for 6 inches of girth, wish me luck.

Now you have both brought a smile upon my face. Are you saying that “theorically” it is a matter of time for me to experience a growth of lets say 2 cm as I have grown 3 in BPFSL? I know there are a lot of things to be considered but do you think it is a real posibility?

By the way I totally understand that the matter of time might be some months or even a couple of years, I just wonder if that growth possibility might be concluded due to my BPSL increase.

I know that for me, my Stretch jumped out in front of my EL by a large margin.

My EL is catching up. Look at my sig for specifics.

Thanks a lot I hope to one day catch up with you :) . You have definitely made my day.

androNYC: Great suggestion.

This is good when it BPFSL is a bit longer than erection length. This may indicates future erect growth.
