A break is a break, but while on break, don’t forget about pee pulls and fowflers. Pull your dick straight out as long as you can for a couple of seconds everytime you piss and pull your dick as far as you can between your legs keeping it tight when you go to sleep. Thanks tntj, I thought I’d pump while on the break, so as to maintain my length and give my girth a little boost to keep me motivated.

I visited the doctor today and it seems it’s a thrombosed vein. There was a chance it was a lymph vessel but since I explained I could feel a network of hard vessels directly after hanging it seems it’s probably a vein.

He was pretty honest with me about advice, telling me that generally doctors won’t be able to give you any information or advice specific to hanging, as there’s currently not a widely practiced medical procedure that involves hanging weights from the penis, that kind of thing, for the most part, is really beyond the scope of current medical practices and so the information just isn’t available (my words not his (paraphrasing/interpreting)). He said the most doctors would just default to the default response— that you shouldn’t do it.

He was quite curious as to hanging but when I asked him about clamping he was literally just immediately adamant that you shouldn’t do it. He also said that it could cause deformation that can leave you without sensation (which is something else to add to the list of reasons not to clamp).

He also much preferred the idea of me using a vacuum hanger rather than a clamp style hanger (after I explained the principles behind both (I took my hanger and ADS with me to show to him)).

I’ve been prescribed a topical cream to apply three times daily and have made an appointment to visit again after ten days.

Good luck with the recovery. Most sources state that penile thrombosis takes 4-6 weeks for it to heal. I don’t know if your doctor informed you: but if it is a thrombosed vein, then you’ll want to strain away from masturbation and sex as much as possible during the recovery stage. Accordingly, it would be a safe bet to stay away from PEing too.

Also, interesting that he is so adamant about clamping being bad, but not hanging. Clamping, of course, is dangerous if applied for long periods of time; but the recommended 10 minute time limit shouldn’t be much worse than the average cock ring. I wonder where he got the idea that it can “deform the penis.” He is right, though. Clamping deformed Big Girtha’s penis—to a much larger size, that is.

Also, if you feel any pain you may want to take 400 mg of Ibuprofen—3 times daily—which is a standard recommendation by several doctors to help relieve pain in association with penile thrombosis.

I didn’t feel any pain apart from the stinging. The lump itself didn’t hurt. I think I’ve been lucky, since it’s already cleared up (I’ve been applying the cream).

I know I should be avoiding PE but I have to admit I’ve been clamping and fucking my fleshlight quite vigourously and it doesn’t seem to have done any harm.

After the swelling from the hanger subsided I found another very pronounced vein, running parallel to the corona of my glans. It wasn’t so much hard but it felt like there was some kind of block causing it to stay engorged, but that’s also subsided now.

I’m not exactly sure how clamping affects a deconditioning break, but at the moment I’m all set to clamp right through the break, since I just can’t stand the down-time.
