I second that!!! I’m about to start my second round of the Paleo (Stone Age) diet…It’s like a healthy version of atkins. Never seen weight drop off so fast.

My ruler doesn’t start at 0” it doesn’t even show 0 anywhere on it. Lol! But the measurement is still off a bit, even straightening the curve. I re-measured and still came out 5” tape measure and 4.7” ruler. Then realized with the ruler, I have to hold my penis up to it. When I do that my fat pad kinda protrudes a bit. Oh this is fun!

So here’s my analysis…I lose measurement with the ruler. When I use the tape measure I let my dick just hang there. I straighten the tape measure out and 5” on the spot! So really this is just me thinking way in to this.

The standard way to measure BPEL is ruler pressed into the pubic fat pad all the way to the bone, measuring along the top of the penis to the tip of the glans.

Measuring from the side or bottom of the penis will give an artifically longer length.


Kdong Starting: 7.1 x 5.125 vol = 14.84 cu. in. Current: 7.1BPEL 5.5 MSEG = 17cu. in. GOAL --> 8.5 x 6.5 vol: 28.6 cu. in.

Took Time off, lost some gains-- Girth cemented

Here’s something I notice about the ruler also. You really have to straighten your back out as you measure and compensate for the slight angle you are looking from. Try to measure with your head and neck as straight as possible. Usually, with an erection, most men have a tendency to stick it out a bit and lean their back out slightly. Considering the penis is sticking out further than your head and neck, you are looking from a slight angle which can give the illusion it might be slightly off in measurement. The longer your unit, the worse the angle as you have to bend your neck to try to get your eyes lined up directly over the measurement.

That angle can easily throw you off considering that your head is already at an angle compared to where your shaft is, usually coming up slightly lower unless you have an upward curve. The angle issues are also much worse with a transparent ruler. Also, if your erection has a slight curve to it, a lot of men tend to straighten it out against the ruler causing them to press against it. That extra pressure, if you aren’t careful, can enlarge the penis slightly forcing and trapping more blood into it, also throwing off the measurement.

You probably already accounted for this, but I’m just sharing a little bit of the problems I’ve faced when measuring with the ruler.
