I don’t think it’s as simple as finding quotients based on a survey. There were probably some assumptions made and the results accordingly ‘corrected’.

It has always been my personal opinion that most people arguing for ridiculously small “average” sizes and running around saying “size doesn’t matter” are those guys who don’t have any size.

A complete myth. As much as it pisses me off, I have small hands, some of the smallest I’ve seen, but I have a 7 3/4 x 5 3/8 dick. Hand size is BS.

I don’t understand your comments. I’m talking about the testing methodology, period. Either it’s fact or it’s skewed - there’s no in between. I’m just one who demands the truth whatever it may be. Are you putting me down or calling me a “liar”, or am I missing something here? Not sure what you’re insinuating.

If you read my previous posts/threads I’ve NEVER once argued that “size doesn’t matter” - EVER. Furthermore, I’m 1/2” above the average size listed in this study - not that it matters one iota. If someone 2” long disputed the findings of a study, their contribution would be appreciated here at Thunders and treated with respect.

I truly think size plays a big part in every aspect of every part of our lives. Whether it’s what we drive or how many sq feet our house has or how big our bank accounts are. From the size of her breast to the size of her ass to the size of our peckers. So does size matter yes very much so. Are there diff-rent factors that seem to control that amount you damn right. People with no money want the bigger bank account. Little breasted women want bigger ones. Big over size people want to be skinny-er. Little dick people want bigger ones an so on an so on.

People are fucked up. I know it an so do you’ll. For some to say size doesn’t matter.That’s a load of crap there are deeper things going on that need more attention than worrying about the size of your dick

But does size matter? Okay think about this if your okay with what you have an have no desire to increase or decrease whether it’s body parts or money or what social level your living on then size really doesn’t matter. But if you desire bigger faster larger then by all means size matters to you. I think that at some point we all reach a level that size plays a less important roll. But If you have a little pecker but a good size bank account then size doesn’t matter to her. But if you have a BIG pecker then she doesn’t give a shit about the size of your bank account.

Try reading the link Thunder provided (yes I’m tooting my own horn here ;) ). There is tremendous convergent evidence from a number of medical studies (i.e., not self reports) with good methodology. One of the best was of over 3,000 healthy Italian military men who were screened at random — not a group of self-selected volunteers like the Cancun men. In my opinion the question of average size — for men of predominantly European origin who live in countries with good nutrition, at least — has been answered as definitively as it ever will be: 6” bone pressed is the average erect length that such men are packing.

You are correct, that is puzzling. I had thought about the same thing since I was last here, and was going to bring it up myself. I’ve checked out some of other the percentages on the length chart and I can arrive at them.

I don’t think they made it up. Here’s why I think that- they show .2%, then .3%, and then back to .2% as we look down the chart. If it was made up, how would they arrive at that? But how are the .2% and .1% percentages there?

I found it by doing a google search and finally seeing details at a page from a site called Mr. Average. The charts say the source is Lifestyles, 2001. I don’t think I can post the link to the chart page because at the top of the page by clicking on Home it brings up a page that has a few links and a couple of them look to be porno I think. I know that on the front page of one of those links there is obvious penetration going on ( but it is blotted out), so that alone prevents me.

This maybe the case but a majority of Latino population would skew the real average don’t you think?

Yep, if the old wives tales were true then the porn stars with 1ft+ sized appendages would have comedy sized feet, hands and noses to match.

I was referring to the normal statistics we all have heard for years (before any PE forums were around) and the cliches like “size doesn’t matter, motion of the boat etc” - all of which are false - size does matter ! I was not referring to anything anyone said here. It seems like the Lifestyle survey was flawed, based upon results cited here. But I have also read that the Kinsey survey was compiled using self-measured data.
I know one thing for certain, every since I was 16 or so, all the girls said “size matters” and Ive always been happy to have the extra size. Now I just want to keep it working for the rest of my life !

When looking at Thunder’sPlace own height and shoe size polls in detail, as I’ve posted in detail into those threads, there is a clear correlation. The overall average penis size is indeed close (about 1/4” in the height poll, and almost 1/8” in the shoe poll), but when looking at the outliners the penis sizes pull apart more so. The height poll has 800 + votes, but the shoe poll is much smaller with under 100 votes (and has had 9 more votes since I last updated it). So I’ve mostly concentrated on the height poll so far since it has a better sampling to go by, plus it is easier to study with the way it is set up.

Totally agree. I think some size of body parts can be a good indicator of penis size as long as we are guessing withing normal range from 4-8”.

Is penis size truly random? I don’t think so. If you were to line up every NBA Guard and have them drop their drawers I think we would see a fairly high average. Probably quite a bit bigger than the average horse jockey. Is that fair? No, it is genetics. I believe your frame size has *some* bearing on what you are packing, but that is not the end-all determining factor of what you were blessed or cursed with. Do some big guys have small dicks? Yes. Do some small guys have big dicks? Yes.

What I want to know is the average dick that is in circulation. What has my future lover experienced? What does she see as average and what does she really need to be satisfied? She probably has never seen a micro, so take them out of the equation and give me real-life averages and what I need to be successful.

Of course I am speaking hypothetically and “for the group” as I am married and will probably never have another.
