Back after an 8 year decon break...can I expect gains with the Newbie Routine

When I started I went straight to a Penimaster and from that to a Bib Hanger and didn’t really ever do manual P.E. consistently. I did buy a jelqing device but was never really consistent with it. Sorry to hear you didn’t get much from jelqing; I’ve always thought it was the gold-standard exercise for P.E. It is one of the areas I don’t think I maximised gains in, so I’m hoping it’ll help me gain at least a little. Also, I’m incorporating ballooning into my strokes to increase my mid-shaft girth.

I’m really hoping the long break will mean my tissues will give me (relatively) easy gains. I’d be content with slow consistent gains at a low tension just with ADS. I’m not in any rush to make things harder for myself.

Also, I’m reluctant to do any more hanging as I really screwed my back up hanging so intensively the last time I was here. I had to do lots of yoga and stretching to compensate. I think if I do do any of that again, it’s got to be a limited number of sets rather than trying to use hanging as a kind of ADS. That’ll change the shape/alignment of your spine etc. faster than it’ll add length to your unit. :/

I’ve got a couple of cable clamps on their way to me also, to try and use Xenolith/Sparky’s clamping technique to promote gains in the mid-shaft area, although I’m not sure at what point I’m going to incorporate those into the routine.

My 7.5 needs me to be absolutely fully engorged and then I brush it. It would be nice if I could measure that consistently without so much effort. If I can achieve that at least then it’ll be worth it for me.

Vacuum extending is the way to go these days. Get a monkeybar vacads for under $150.

That little .5” loss was because it was extreme extending several hours a day with heat. I havent done that in years.

Your jelquing and ballooning is actually superceded by clamps.

Heat the unit and clamp 10-20 minutes. Do that for 3 sets or so. A day of rest is recommended between clamp sessions.

One of my favorite things to do was having sex after a PE day. Id pump before the sex too and have fun with the temporary gains.

I was thinking of looking for the extender with the highest possible tension as I want to try and avoid hanging entirely if I possibly can.

As for the clamping, I do have some clamps on their way to me but I want to see if I can get results from manual work before switching to the more high intensity stuff.

And yeah, with clamping I think I’d definitely take rest days.

Unfortunately I don’t have a GF, so the temporary gains are going to waste a bit.

Get your life to were having a gf or two is not that hard. That means self care, fitness, clothes, social, etc. 15lbs of tension is all anyone of us needs. If you think you need more a vac hanger is the way. FAR infrared light is the superior method of heating the tissues. It promotes circulation and increases the amount of capillaries.

Thanks, I wish it were that simple for me but it’s an ongoing problem. It’s kind of a social thing.

Thanks. For the moment I’m using what I have (my classic Penimaster) but I’m looking into how I’m going to progress and the vac hanger is definitely on the short-list.

And yeah, also need to get another infrared lamp. I sold the one I had when I gave up P.E. supposedly for good.

PE teaches us to be persistent and that goals take time. Youvr identified that the gf part of life is held back due to some social issues. That too can be increased and improved by putting quality time on it. No excuses.

Any method of PE you neglected in athe past represents an opportunity for “new growth”.

My max was 8.75” after extreme extending and hanging. I’ve been maintaing with pumping only but my length is 8.25” consistently. To get that .5” back id have to do more extending and stretching.

Figure out what you difnt do before and work that angle.

I’m not a fan of jelqing, I don’t hate it I just don’t think its good for anything except shifting in fresh blood after pumping or clamping.

Hey DJ can you recommend any vacuum hangers or extenders? I saw you told Mr. F about a “monkeybar” device (forgot the full name but I’ll refer back to your other comment). What would some other great devices be?

Also when you say “with the more comfortable stuff out now.” are you referring to hangers as well? I’ve been using a homemade “captain’s wench” for hanging and I can rarely get to 5 pounds (maybe I’m just scared or being a baby? But I have no idea how guys get to 10 pounds let alone 17-25!) and I’ve also had a lot of struggles with pinching, I’ve even had a purple line once or twice that lasted a week or two from being pinched in my homemade wench. I’d really like to figure out a better hanging situation as I fear nerve damage as well. Just about any PE I can think of has me worried there are some consequences to nerves. Some guys have said becoming less sensitive is good for lasting longer during sex but I’m not sure that’s the way to do it.. At least not the way I’d prefer. But I essentially cut out jelqing after only two or three months tops because I thought I was losing sensitivity (I understand the dorsal nerve is right on top).

One last thing, do you have any more info on nerve damage? I’ve searched the forums and google numerous times but haven’t really found much on it
