Becoming a healthier person
Hello All…
I am a long time lurker on this site and am making my first post! Hopefully this is in the correct forum and all is well with me posting. I am not a newb to PE, just posting, so I can’t post anywhere else as far as I know.
Basically I am making a big change in my life and need some support. I can’t get over how supportive members on this forum are and that’s why I finally decided to post. I think people here may understand what I am going through and may be able to help greatly.
So a quick background on my PE history.
I jelqed for about one year off and on, every two days or so. After that I moved on to power jelqing. I switched back and forth for the next two years with an occasional clamp(rarely) for girth. All in all I would say that over 3 years I kept it pretty reserved for the most part. Slow and steady.
Well as of a few months ago I finally decided to stop doing PE for any gains and occasionally lightly jelq for general exercise. I had reached my goal at 8x5.5 from 7 1/4x5 and feel that I am completely happy with this size. When I am completely rock hard I can go upwards of 8x6 on occasion.
This brings me to my “issues”.
I am just not getting a full erection anymore and I don’t want these gains to go to waste! Maybe 80% EQ most of the time and I noticed that I am relying mostly on my BC muscle to keep an erection going.
Jump to my overall health history,
35 years old – 5’10”-185lbs
I have been a smoker for the past 12 years and have a horrible diet. Fillet o’ fish is what I was considering “eating well”. I drank tons of coffee and also used percocet as a rec. Drug as well as others. I am not fat but completely unhealthy and no exercise.
SO after a sexual experience with a woman had gone nearly all wrong(which initiated psychological problems) I woke up and realized that I am getting older and need to take care of my body.
I have quit smoking, drugs, and am trying to eat properly and exercise(one week into it). I am also starting to take supplements to get my blood flowing properly again. Supplements include Arginine, ginko, ginseng and niacin, also a multi vitamin. All taken as prescribed on the bottle, no crazy doses.
I have not seen a doctor yet mostly due to no insurance. I am pretty sure that any respectable doctor would tell me to quit smoking/drugs, eating poorly, and exercise before recommending anything else anyway.
OK so I am looking for some good simple diet tips(maybe some recipes) and an exercise routine that I can do before and after work, mostly cardio since I am not into weight lifting at all. I am also looking for support for quitting all my addictions and some reassurance that this may be or IS the cause of all my erection problems.
I have a great respect for some of the people on this forum with all the help they have dished out. This is NOT an easy topic to talk about for me, at least not with anyone I know personally. I just needed somewhere to go to vent and discuss my problems.
Thanks for your time!
