Clamping and EQ, help needed!

I’ve just started clamping and am a little confused.

I’m doing 3x10 minute sets at the maximum notch I can stand. I am getting over 1/2 inch expansion when doing so. I’m currently doing 2 on, 1 off and this is my second week of clamping.

I have noticed that overall my erection quality (EQ) is reduced. I’m aware this with most PE activity is a negative PI, however, I’m sure I read with clamping it maybe isn’t regarded as such.

So I’m looking for some guidance. Should I ease my routine to 1 on, 1 off or 2 on, 2 off, or should I continue with 2 on, 1 off moving to 3 on, 1 off?

Is the reduced EQ in the context of clamping a negative?

It should only effect EQ for about 24 hours or less. If you go 2 days and your EQ doesn’t come back, its an issue. Same with hanging.


My goal is to be the best me, mind, body and soul, PE is part of achieving the best me.

On my rest day I’m just about fine, although not at what I would call my best ever levels (pre Clamping).

With clamping, your EQ should be skyrocketing. If your EQ is going down, you can be sure that you are doing something wrong.

I advice you take a week off, then start a 1 : 1 routine. Also, you are probably using too much intensity; don’t aim to get the maximum expansion possible, it isn’t necessarily the best approach - actually, some member around here got a broken TA going that way.

Broken TA? I hope you don’t mean tunica. If so, or if anything like this severe, please provide any links you can find. I want to read about these catastrophes because it’s my biggest nightmare.

I can’t do a search right now, anyway if I well understood Mr. Happy reported a torn tunica due to clamping.

Try doing a search if you are really interested; remember also that maybe ‘broken’ is not the right term, my English isn’t exactly perfect :) .

Yes EQ should be awesome. My Eq during sex is amazing and my partner loves it :)

Thanks for the advice guys, will take a few days off and come back 1 on, 1 off with a little less intensity.

So you think between a 1 on, 1 off clamping based sessions it is ok to do some light stretching and 10 minutes jelqing during the 2nd days?

i.e. 3x10 min clamping day 1, 10 minutes stretching, 10-15 minutes jelqing day 2, 3x10 min clamping day 3, day 4 OFF?

I’m still looking for length and girth, i’ve introduced clamping to try and move from a plateau, it is the first soley girth focused exercise I have done.

No, apparently not.

Mr. Happy has never reported that he has personally had a torn tunica. Mr. Happy has reported that others here have said that this is a risk with clamping.

This was a big concern on this site when the idea of clamping was relatively new - and people were tending to go overboard in pursuit of a monster cock in a short period of time and seriously hurting themselves.

The tendency to “over do” is not limited to clamping, but it is particularly dangerous with that practice. Be careful.

In the context of any PE: if you see a reduction in EQ you are overtaxing yourself.

Reduction in EQ is always a sign you are doing too much. Therefore ease off.

You should not be going for maximum expansion - that’s the road to overdoing it, and ultimately toward injury.

Clamp at 80% erection, and don’t get carried away with set after set.

Your EQ flags, that’s your body’s way of saying “Too much.”
