I was surmising that their normal condom size isn’t ~7” in girth. I find that hard to believe, and most likely an error in measuring.

Maybe the Germans here can clear this up. How big are the condoms sold there? Lay one out flat and measure across.

It’s stupid when they tell you how wide a condom is. A Magnum is 2.5” wide, if not a little more, but so what? Magnums are 5.25 circumference unstretched. A 2.5” wide penis would be 7-8 inches girth.

Condom widths are measured flat. so a 2.5 wide rubber should just be a little over 5.0 in circumference A guy with 5.25 or greater shouldn’t have any problem with slippage.

Since the German condoms are apparently 2.2” wide, they’d be a little over 4.4” in circumference.

Average German dicks are 3.95 cm across, or 1.56”. If round, that means about 4.9” in circumference.

Obviously, the average 4.4” condom is not too small for the average 4.9” penis.

There are two estimation errors to consider. First, the edges of condom when it is mashed flat add a tiny bit to its circumference, thus the circumference is “a little over” twice its measured width. Not much though.

Second, most penises are not exactly round, generally being wider than they are deep. Even if we subtract a little for this, the condoms should still fit ok.

My point is that the title and assertion of the article is flawed because it seemingly compares the diameter of an erect penis to the diameter of a flat condom.

Beowulf should have provided a source, because we have no clue who wrote it. Did he write it? Can’t tell, but I suspect he copied it from somewhere.

Put the erect penis on a flat surface, smash it with a sledge hammer and measure it flattened out, the same as for the condom.

This is weird, shouldn´t the dick be hold in a 90 degree angle, because if the dick is measured like we see on the picture, dicks which naturally point towards the stomach would be significantly smaller than straight ones.

I still don´t believe this to be accurate either. My dick before PE was slightly above 20 cm NBP when I started (about 21 now :) ). Even if I might lose like one centimeter when measured like on the picture (my dick points towards my stomach) I would still be very big according to this survey, but when I am in the locker room at my gym I only feel slightly above average.

Yes it should be hold just parallel to the ground, because in this way you “lose” a lot of lenght. I disagree with this average size anyway, acording to other studies.

It is all about if it was a parallel to the ground or not position of the penis.

@Taugenichts - you’d probably lose more then 1cm if you measured this way. I have 7,2” BPEL when I measure the way they propose(I always measured this way) and when I measure parallel to the ground I get around 8” BPEL. Don’t be surprised if you dropped to 7” NBPEL when measured this way. That’s still very big though.

I know there are lot’s of threads on measuring topic, but I read lot’s of them and this is the first time I see people say that one should measure with dick parallel to the ground. Are you guys sure that’s the way it’s supposed to be done?

That’s the Tolka theory, it would seem. Measure that way if you want to compare with others in the Tolka-verse. It’s not necessary in the rest of the world.

I concur with you in saying that I have never seen that as a required condition of getting an accurate penis length measurement.
