Consuming Olive oil

I stumbled onto the idea of drinking olive oil as a natural way to boost my testosterone instead taking the steroid path. I’ve tried most everything including recently trying DHEA. It all gives me a bad headache and I stop after three days.

Well I went back to searching and came across a ton of threads about guys using Olive oil as a natural booster. I read through probably dozens of different threads about it. Mostsaying it works and of course some saying it didn’t. I gave it a try about three weeks ago and drink 1tbs before every meal. About 3 times daily.

It has definitely boosted my testosterone, lowered my blood pressure, has given me a serious boost when pumping to the point I’m not using Viagra when pumping to stay really hard, and I’ve noticed my girth gains from pumping are staying between sessions. I do dynamic pumping every other day. Balls are slightly bigger too.

I did my research on what other benefits it has and how it helps boost testosterone. The brand I bought was a certified brand from California called Olive Ranch extra virgin. Bought it at Wal-Mart for 8$. Apparently not all Olive oil is real so I went with that one.

Now I have noticed in all of that research that there seems to be “the more you drink the more you gain” idea. I wouldn’t recommend that, this stuff is 130 calories a tablespoon. Read of guys doing up to 12 tbs a day to boost testosterone. Seeing a how this is the internet and the only way to really be for certain is to get a testosterone test done, but I feel it doing good things already. Especially with my blood pressure and I feel more alert and not tired during the day.

Try this at your own risk and see if it helps you. And make sure you do your own research too. Hopefully this helps a few people out.

Interesting, I’m all about natural ways to boost testosterone, and I also use olive oil for all of my cooking so I’ll have to look into this for sure.

I’m Italian and use extra virgin olive oil most days of the week and my T still dropped to 212, so not sure it works for everyone.

Eat almonds and avocado my man! Get some healthy fats in you, I eat them both everyday. Does wonders for the T. Also the supplement ZMA. (Zinc, magnesium and vitamin b6)

Yup, I eat almonds, brazil nuts, grapes, beets, broccol, garlic and watermelon (other T raising foods). I avoid beer, soy and plastic like the plague. Too much xenoestrogens for me.

Between that and my Clomid, I’m at 900+, which is a lot better. When my T was low, my wife said I was a bear.

I tried ZMA but it gave me the runs. I think it mave been the magnesium.

Superb answer. Man avoiding plastic is just so hard in these modern days. I try to as well, but it’s everywhere. Let’s not forget the most important T raising tactic, working out. Get your squats in! It’s funny, my best morning wood is normally the next morning after a squat or deadlift workout lol

Olive oil is helpful in raising testosterone. But start out conservatively in your dosage as too much will definitely work as a very strong laxative.

Agreed.

I hit the gym three or four days a week. I try to do squats each time and box once a week. :-)

Red meat.

Hate to say it, since there are so many attendant issues (cholesterol, for one). But when I’m eating lean red meat on a regular basis, coupled with heavy lifting, I’m the most charged up.

As an Italian and someone who loves to cook my advice on olive oil is to not cook with it but use it in things like dressing. As far as increases in T it hasn’t helped me so I dunno

Why do you suggest this exactly? I’ve thought about using coconut oil instead but I love the olive oil.

Coconut is meant to be cooked with olive not so much. For one cooking with olive oil can become overbearing in flavor is a dish where you want certain other flavors to come out. I’ve also read somewhere it isn’t healthy once heated to a certain point unlike say coconut oil or avocado oil. Coconut oil of course you need to be careful with when cooking because it does give off a different flavor as well. I guess we’re damned if we do damned if we don’t

I want to clarify because my above post can sound contradictory

Coconut oil for health reasons along with avocado oil are supposed to be healthier to cook with but coconut can can give off a certain coconut ish flavor so you need to be careful in what you cook in it.

Olive oil is another healthy oil however it’s heavy in flavor and meant as a topper or in say dip or dressing. It can be overbearing in most dishes, where say a less healthy oil is not but here lies the problem for both oils.

My understanding from something I read is cheaper less flavorful oils corn veggie etc along with olive oil once heated are supposedly toxic. Now maybe that’s completely bullshit but it’s out there. It could be about selling a specific diet.

As far cooking with I stand by what my palette has taught me.

I agree with this one, olive oil is the best when used fresh for salads and dips, and as any other oil (and groceries pretty much ) they lose their healthy nutrietents when termahlly processed ( cooked or fried ). While coconut oil has very big tolerance to high temperature and that is why it is recommended for cooking, and I agree, it may affect the taste of prepared meal, make it more coconuty lol.

Yep, and meat fats are really good for testosterone and male vitality, so it’s not just lean meats.

There’s some scientific argument over eating animal fats and cholesterol. Many scientists now think that it is NOT bad to eat meat fat and higher cholesterol food. The bad cholesterol that builds up in the arteries is most likely to occur from being obese, lack of exercise and high sugar intake, not from eating meat fats by a healthy (exercising) male.
