Counting scrotum skin when measuring base

Asked a similar question before, but probably should have been more clear.

Just want to know if most people count this in their girth measurement or not. If not, how do accurately measure without? To me it seems like part of the penis in a way if it goes into a woman, it takes up some space (plus I want all I can get there :-) ).

Thanks.

I have had this questions from a long time too…

Every picture I see with people measuring their bases create a situation where it is impossible not to include scrotal skin. In fact, you have to actually move the scrotal skin out of the way, and that probably skews the measurement by moving extra skin. Someone needs to pass a bill to make that scrotal skin part of the penis. It takes up space inside the vagina while the scrotum does not.

I didn´t understand a word that you said.

Do whatever it takes to get accurate measurements for yourself to document your gains. As long as it’s consistent for you, it’s right. This isn’t a contest…well…yeah, do it for yourself.

I'm a disciple of science.

I pull my ball sack down a bit so there is no loose skin. Ideally everyone should move loose skin out of the way and just measure your actual girth. I don’t see how that’s confusing.

I am thickest right at the base. The best way I have found to measure there and exclude the scrotal skin as much as possible, is to use a piece of synthetic string, relatively thin but not stretchy. This can be wrapped around the base close to the scrotum much more easily than a tape measure. Just mark across both strands where they cross each other on top of the shaft, lay it out on a ruler, and measure between the marks.

I believe this is how Vacu-Tech recommends guys measure their girth for cylinder sizing.

There’s no point in measuring bunched up skin, it’s not like that skin is going to be used for penetration during sex, it will most certainly get pushed back. I rarely measure BEG, but when I do, I pull the skin down completely.

Ok thanks for the advice.

I was just wondering because I have never seen a picture of someone measuring their base girth where it looks like they are making a converted effort to avoid including scrotal skin. I understand it is hard to do while taking a picture, but it seems that people use it in their actual measurements. Also, some of the skin will go in with the penis, and it doesnt bunch up like grocery bags when your erect, at least not mine.

Also, I want accurate measurements compared to other people. If everyone is measuring girth wrong, and they get 5.5, I want to measure that way for accuracy. If they are measuring correctly and get some lower number, I would like to measure that way. If 10% of people measure without scrotal skin, but everyone else counts it, it throws off the entire average. A lot of people say “do it for yourself”, but some people think the average penis length is 8.5 inches, if they hit 10.5, they will kill girls.Hope that made a modicum of sense.

You mean you want to feel good about yourself in comparison to others around here?

You do make sense in that people here get influenced by each others statistics and goals. But to me measuring a ton of base skin doesn’t seem sensible, no matter who does it.

No, I want to be accurately compared with other people. I strive for that. If everyone is wrapping the skin around their penis twice, I want to know that because that will effect my goals. I have heard some men say that they are 9 inches bone pressed but still do not feel that big. In all actuality they are huge. At some point I want to go on maintinence, but I want to know I am much larger than average when I do it. In PE every 1/8th inch counts. If guys are normally adding an 1/8 on because of scrotal skin, or some other minor aberrant measuring practice, it throws everything off.

I agree we should all measure consistently for fair comparisons, but I also often have to remind myself that this is not the Penis Size World Championship, and we are not competing with each other. I just need something that will make me (and my wife) satisfied.

In some men the scrotal skin is easier to avoid than in others. I suspect most, if not all, are trying to get the scrotal skin out of the measurement, but that isn’t always possible. In those with peno-scrotal webs or “turkey necks” the scrotal skin may extend well onto the lower shaft.

I agree with the above.

I don’t think that any person is trying to include bunched up skin, but if you move the ball sack out of the way, but still get a little of the dorsal skin (as I think most men do) I think that should be counted in the measurement. I feel that if you try and fiddle with excess skin beyond that, and take a measurement, you will get an even less accurate, and also dissatisfying result, but this of course is all very subjective.
