Due to wanting to correct my n-curve, I measure length with a tape as well as BPEL with a ruler, as correcting the curve will show as an artificially high
increase on the ruler as there would actually no true length increases simply by straightening the curve.
The tape (NBP) is between 8 3/8 and 8.5 measuring along the top.
The BPEL with a ruler is right at 8
Girth right now is between 5 3/8 and 5.5
