How about just doing it in a warm bath?

I don’t think that a bath provides the same return of heat that the IR gun has. Plus you can’t hang in a bath, the Bib or AFb would fall to pieces and rust up.

I don’t believe in any but temporary sterilization either as the result of IR use, but the structures inside testicles aren’t made for such temperatures; you COULD cause some damage. All I’m saying is that it’s better play safe and cover those sacs, it doesn’t require that much effort and can save you from a lot of trouble in future.

edit: These are all just my opinions and guesses, based on some very basic knowledge of human anatomy and common sense, and should not be taken as the universal truth, nor am I trying to make them appear so. :)

I agree with Base and TT. It’s better to be safe than sorry later. So, guys, just take some caution when using IRs.

I previously posted a link to a site that sells the Thermotex Platinum flexible IR pad, but have since found another site that sells it for a bit less ($224 vs $249.50).

They also have the elbow pad for $149 which could also work. The main difference is that you get two heating elements separated by a gap rather than the Platinum’s three connected sections. I think the Platinum one might be a little better for wrapping around a tube, but you’d have more than enough material to sandwich even the biggest bare dick between the two panels of the elbow model.

Hmm, on second thought, the elbow model looks like it would strap around a tube just like it does that lady’s arm in the picture. You could hit it at top and bottom stimulatingly and then rotate it, or twist the tube, to hit from both sides. I think that one would be the one to get. $149 is still expensive compared to regular heating pads or IR lamps, but is getting close enough to my price range to really temp me. ;)

I’m planning on buying this bulb, but I need the lamp to go with it. What kind of lamp do you recommend me get?

Preferrably one that does support about 250 Watts. I use one that’s movable, sort of like an oversized table lamp. You can move it away from your body if it gets too hot.

Could those in the know comment on these,

Obviously they are built for room heating but would they do the same job ?

I had my chance to try my IR lamp the first time yesterday and exept exessive sweating of hands, had nothing but positive experiences.

Related to my “cover your balls opinion”: I used a sock and it worked fine with 250w IR bulb from distance of 15-20”. If you use one, just make sure it’s thick enough.

Oh man. The whole testicle thing worries me now. I was going to try out the lamp idea but now that I think about it the potential risk to my family jewels just ain’t worth it. I guess I’ll just have to compromise by doing the exercises in a hot bath all the time or something. I don’t mess around with nuts.
