"Dorsal Nerve Bundle"

>I think what hobby was originally getting at is the idea that there is a large knot of nerve tissue just behind the glans on the top of the penis.

Exactly. That is what we’ve been told and have repeated, and it is incorrect. There isn’t any special knot or package of nerves there.

Good luck. They must be someone’s hand drawn creations because it doesn’t exist in any of the diagrams I’ve seen.

I get it now. No “bundle”. Makese sense.

I tried checking some of the anatomy links in the Links forum to see if I could find a graphic. Finding a fucking link that is actually still functional is the problem now.

Most graphics are hand drawn aren’t they? I believe one or two of the paysites had a common graphic that showed a bundle. I’ll look for awhile and if I don’t find anything, I’ll say fuck it.

Yes. I should have said creatively sketched by someone not familiar with the anatomy.

Bad day so far Thunder?

This is all very interesting, and important! Thanks Hobby and PG.

I know that some common stretching advice given to newbies is not to grip the penis just behind the glans, so as to avoid putting too much pressure on the (supposed) nerve “bundle.” I never followed this advice, as I was not able to get a good grip otherwise. I never had any problem.

Conversely, I twice experienced nerve damage from my Bib hanger. I now believe that this was because I had the hanger too tight. I had it tight just to keep it from sliding down over the (supposed) nerve bundle. Because it was tight, it was putting excessive pressure on the whole of the part of the shaft that it covered, including the dorsal side of the shaft. I now tighten the hanger more moderately, and since doing so I haven’t had any problem, even though the hanger does slide down over the glans some (I am sufficiently wrapped, however).

I know that this is only one person’s experience, but my experience seems to support Hobby’s suggestion above.

Yes, this is important for how we approach certain PE exercises and how we design hangers, etc.

Thank you for clarifying that, Hobby. My initial post’s failure to include that caveat was misleading.
