I have a few things to clear up about dry jelqing. Is it as effective as wet jelqing? And when you dry jelq do you go for the same amount of time as you would wet jelq, or do you do it less time? I am thinking of switching over to dry for a while. Can anyone help me here, thanks.

Wet and dry jelqing should be the same if you do them right.

Dry works well for guys that aren’t cut but if your cut it’s usually a little to hard on your dick. It properly actually works better than wet jelqing for gains but it starts to hurt me after a while because I’m cut.

Should you dry jelq for like 20 mins at a time?

I’m cut & dry jelq for about 15 minutes - 2days on / 1 off. So far, I haven’t traumatized my dick doing it dry.

I don’t like wet. It’s way too messy.

My routine:

5 mins warm up with a gel pack (microwaved for a minute)
20 minutes pumping - between 4 and 8 hg with MityVac/2” Gravel Tube cylinder
15 minute dry jelq
10 minute stretch
10-20 minutes warm down with gel pack.

I do 2 days on then take off a day or two.

I also wear a 2” o-ring cock ring on my “training” days all day with a Twistagrip all day hanger.

I have gotten pretty good results so far in a month and a half. See my stats in my sig.

I have pumped for only 2 weeks and worn the cock ring for about a week and a half now and I feel my girth is getting a bit bigger.

Some days, I may do some wet jelqing in the shower for 5 minutes or so in the morning.

You should try different grips for dry jelqing. The one-hand-replaces-the-other-hand technique you might use for wet jelqing is inefficient for dry jelqing. (I don’t use it for wet jelqing either.) I do both wet and dry without removing my gripping hand between strokes, varying between an overhand and an underhand OK grip. My favorite is probably an overhand OK, because I can sit on the edge of the chair and pull downward and jelq squeeze as I yank to hit the ligs more, or grip tight around the base and do a sadsack or uli squeeze with my other hand to fatten things up more.
