Those I know are necessary. It’s really choline and perhaps Arginine that people need to look at. Choline is found in greatest amounts in red meat, but since so many people now have cut their red meat consumption down, this can be lagging in a man’s system.

You know, the more I think on this from other threads I’ve been reading, the more I recognize this is an area that we need to nail down. For years, countless guys on the forum have been taking shit to boost their flagging erections.

I think it is essential that we ID exactly what is needed by the body for proper erection response, and then promote guys working this into their diet. I am personally working on this for myself because I will be damned if I am going to take something for a hard-on unless I absolutely have to. Let me work it through naturally and if after that recourse I still have a problem, then it’s on to the next step.

I would so much rather see guys actually understanding erection prerequisites and meeting them properly then looking for silver magic bullets that can screw them up in the long, or maybe not-so-long term.

Because, what good is a big penis if you can't properly get it up? It’s like having a key to a car without the car - pointless.

So here’s hoping we as a group will see the need for this next step in penile education and gather resources on it.

Some guys like me have to supplement, diet alone won’t bring back the erection quality. I’m diabetic, I had ED for about 6 years complete ED before joining TP. Gensing was my erection solution back then. Now I take ginko biloba. And eat arginine rich food. I take zinc and Vitamin “C” to help stave off andropause.

The best diet possible is one low in saturated fats. No hamburgers no cheese burgers and no beer what so ever. Your fat sources must be healthy fats. Fish oils,canola,safflower,peanut butter,olive oil,peanut oil. Etc.

Upping protein 8% and cutting carbs 8% helps.Celery and cabbage are good for erec tion health. SSRI”S and antihistamines are bad for erections.

Your right about diet, but it has to be implemented at an early age, To stave off ED and or Andropause. Neither have to happen.

Meat has gotten a bad rap. Lean beef is a good source of choline,fish, pork and pasta.

hehe - well, I get a ton of arginine (almost 3K grams) via my whey protein (EAS or ON). I am going to start using an arginine/orthinine combo right before bed, but a lot of that is for general night-time body healing (hGH).

I’m going on vacation, but when I get back I am going to delve into this issue and bring up all that I can.

We’re getting off track here as to the subject of the thread, the ejaculation process. That’s not to say that your ideas about erection quality are not useful, only that they deserve a thread of their own.

Great article. Very informative. Was there anything on frequency of ejaculation? I am slightly curious if there is a limit or not.(ie: would a guy ever run out of ejaculate?)

Although your volume decreases with each subsequent ejaculation, assuming they happen within a relatively short period of time, most guys would run out of libido and erectile response before the well went dry.

The ejaculate is not the only medium to assist sperm in reaching their goal. I recently learned that female eggs give off an odour that sperm have the ability to smell and are guided in the right direction. Um, I wonder if catching a cold may act as a contraceptive?
