I stopped the “jelq only” routine the 1st day of october.with no results.

And on the 1st day of october started the extender routine.

The extender I’m using suggests 4-6 hours daily, and I use it for atleast 4 hours daily.

For the first 10 weeks, I got ZERO results with the extender, but the last 4 weeks ( I measure every 2-4 weeks), I noticed the .25 inch gain.

You have certainly worked hard (or so the numbers state, intensity is always hard to describe and relate). I think that one thing we can say more or less for sure is that jelqing probably isn’t the type of exercise that suits you, or this could be a clear-cut case as described by the TGC Theory, and your extender use, and the BPFSL gains it has brought, is an indicator of gains just around the corner.

Just keep eating healthy, exercise smart and don’t waste money where it’s definitely not needed. ;)

There are supplements that some of us use for good blood flow, which in turn can and will help growth. Check out the supplement forum.

I would be careful to take this “rest days” theory like it’s gospel. We human beings attempt to understand things we do not by relating them to things we do (hence your last line). You must understand this. Personally, I do not take any rest days now (though I did in the past). I stopped after I read Wadzilla’s 50 something page PDF on the mechanics of PE (which involved not taking rest days). I’d suggest anyone who believes rest days are an absolute must should read it as well.

For my experience, when I did PE intensely during the first 6 months and got alot of rapid newbie gains, I had rest days but they weren’t planned. It was based off feel. For example some weeks 2 rest days, other times no rest day in 2 weeks. I know for me rest days weren’t essential to gains, but it was a stretch based routine, maybe it’s different for girth/jelqs. The rest days were mainly to avoid soreness and keep EQ at 100%. If I wasn’t sore and EQ was 100% I didn’t see any reason to rest. I guess we each have to find what works and what doesn’t for ourselves.

Since decon, I’ve been aiming at a lighter but more long term routine. You could call it a ‘less is more’ routine. But rest days and everything aren’t a conscious thing. I’m just trying to do a routine that I can maintain longterm without over conditioning or being dissappointed if I don’t gain alot right away. For me, having long intense routines everyday for years at a time isn’t sustainable. I’m not unhappy enough with my size to spend that much time on it. I have around 3 rest days a week these days. Can’t say if I’ve had gains or not yet, I’ll measure next month. I think I’ve gained a small amount, but I’m past the point of expecting rapid gains. I just hope I can keep getting these small gains long term and that they will keep adding up. Even forgetting gains, it keeps EQ high and maintains current size, it’s good to always be doing a little bit of PE.

For me, as a noobie I was always against comparing PE to bodybuilding. PE is more like the skin stretching that tribes use to deform there body. Their ears, there necks etc. Rest is important, but I think lots of sleep is more important than rest days. If you get only a few hours of sleep maybe rest days are more important. Diet might help a little too. And exercise. Everyone’s body is different though.

Some of my best gains came after/during forced extended rest days. I always go 5 days on and 2 days off. We have family that stay with us time to time. Some of my biggest gains came on a measurement after a 3 to 5 day break from unexpected family visit. I stealth PE btw.

Your questions on the extender, I use one 2+ hours a day. This is on top of the newbie routine. I just started some very light hanging. Five lbs 20 to 40 minutes twice a week.

Start BPEL = 5.875, EG = 4.375, FSL = 5.875

I haven’t measured in a week but currently i’m at BPEL 6.75, EG = 4.6 and FSL = 7.75. I have been doing PE since August if I remember correctly. I still point my ADS between 6 and 8 o’clock, other then jelqing I do no girth work. I am waiting to hit 7.50 BPEL before I start on my maintenance routine for length and start girth work.

Of course girth work was going to start once my BPEL hit 7, but in my opinion length has came easy so I bumped it up. Plus my wife is taking the new length very well. I can make her uncomfortable a few times but I am working on more length so I don’t feel the need to wiggle every little millimeter in.

Oh and I am not trying to make her uncomfortable, but being small to begin with some times you feel the need to cram it in there to make sure the new gain is true =) Yeah its corny but what can I say?

I should probably add I also and have been for several months doing the BTC stretch about 2+ hours a day. I just pull it back flaccid and sit on it. When I leave the house I use the finger trap to clamp it to my belt.

Before I started PE I did a good bit of research on it, and found a paper written by someone who does medical research (he writes papers on things like stem cell research). He suggested the following, a few of which are common supplements discussed on this forum and others:

Collagen
Epimedium
L-Arginine
Tribulus
Zinc

Just started

I just recently started and don’t have a clue what to expect. I stretch it before urinating for a bout 30 seconds and jelq 4-5 times a day. It’s like I’ve found a new toy. Since starting 2 weeks ago my flaccid length has gone from 3.25 to 4.25 and there is no noticeable erect change which is 6”, but from what I’ve read on here that’s to be expected. I drink plenty of water, and take L arginine, L ornithine, and choline bitartrate. Never would have guessed that I could make it bigger, damn, I would have started years ago. Al
