Fluid buildup and discolouration

Fluid buildup and discolouration

*Huge groan from all the vets after reading the thread title*

I swear I worded this post really clearly and well earlier on, but got booted off and I have to type it all again.

I read lots of threads about discolouration but lots of things are open ended, and although it has been discussed to death, reincarnated and discussed to death again I still think it need to be reincarnated once more because discussion very rarely gets past speculation.

OK, there are two types of PE’ers, those who think discolouration is caused by blood getting trapped in the lower layers of skin, and those that dont.

Those that do could be broken into two categories, those who think the trapped blood is ‘flushed’ out mostly by lymphatic fluid and those that think the trapped blood is flushed out mostly by blood.

So, which one is it?

Tell me your theory for the removal of discolouration in great anatomical detail. If you think it is by some other method not related to the trapped blood theory, fuck off and start your own thread.

I am thinking fluid, and I am quite interested in pumping and other fluid building methods as a means to remove discolouration. I would be interested to hear of pumpers experiences, preferably those who have started pumping after getting some discolouration (can we think of a shorter way of typing discolouration, like DC or something?).

Like I say, this was much better written the first time.

I’ve always figured discoloration was blood trapped between cells, with no where to go.

A while back, I nicked myself while shaving my shaft (very superficial) and a small scab formed. When the scab fell off, the area under was pink as new :) Still is to this day. This experience solidified my theory in my mind.

I’ve often wondered if some of the new breed of skin care exfolients such as hydroxy and others that are advertised left and right on tv couldn’t be used to remove the skin layers overtime, working through the ones that the blood is trapped between and eventually leaving new skin cells without trapped blood. But, the wife hasn’t bought any of this shit yet, so I haven’t tried it :)

Of course, that would assume you were no longer doing moves that cause discoloration, like horses and extreme squeezes. I gave up on these awhile back do to this very reason, and the discoloration has lessened over time. I figure when I start doing extreme uli’s with the bib thing and expanding my tunica and skin laterally, the discoloration should lighten considerably…

Both and neither.

My take:

Permanent or semi-permanent discoloration isn’t trapped blood, per se. It’s the remnants of trapped blood: hemosiderin, basically rust.

The pictures I’ve seen of hemosiderin deposits are remarkably similar to the discoloration on my dick. The link in this post still works. ~ Here’s a direct link to the image showing hemosiderin discoloration.

Pumping and wrapping have not proved helpful for removing my discoloration. It lightens some with time away from PE. Several guys who have had long layoffs from PE have reported significant improvement. This is encouraging, as the literature isn’t clear about how permanent this type of discoloration is. Some sources say it’s permanent; others say it diminishes over time. I think it’s reasonable to conclude it will fade significantly, but probably wont completely disappear.

This certainly isn’t the sole mechanism of skin discoloration experienced during PE. Usually small red spots disappear quickly and don’t leave a mark. Temporary darkening from jelqing or squeezing quickly fades. But I’m reasonably sure hemosiderin is what causes the long-lasting skin stains.

Darned if I know how to speed recovery. I’ve also thought of using exfoliants, but these deposits are deep. If we have to wait for them to come to the surface and slough off, perhaps something like Retin-A may speed the process.

Wrapping (or pumping) will remove scum that can be cleansed by flushing from underneath. While it removes the "less stuck" deposits in the lowest skin levels, it doesn’t seem to do much to remove gunk that’s lodged higher up.

I caught parts of a Susan Lucci informercial this am and immediately started thinking about my dick :)

She’s hawking a product designed to slough off skin cells quickly-

Throughout the informercial, they state that this will also get rid of discoloration such as age spots, which I suspect are very similar to the deep discoloration we are discussing, stains left from burst capillaries.

I’m sure they have a money back guarantee if anyone wants to try one and report back :)

I don’t give a shit.

I want to get huge before I worry about removing discolouration (not that it is a major deal to me)

sec,

That was my attitude, and now I have regrets.

really?
How bad is your discolouration then Sx24?

Mine’s pretty shocking hehe. It doesn’t bother me that much.

A while back I was doing a lot of theraband wrapping which allows very little blood flow. I got fairly bad brown discoloration, and there was an obvious demarcation line where I put the wrap. Eventually I became concerned that this would not go away and I would have a hell of a time explaining it the rest of my life. So I decided to take a break from PE and low and behold, the discoloration disappeared completely after 5-6 months.

I probably shouldn’t have taken the break, but at least it may help others in deciding whether or not to stop PE.

Perhaps in return someone can help explain the discoloration I’m getting from stretches (not again!). I’m doing stretches by grabbing the head between thumb and forefinger (using rag or tissue for grip, thumb is on the top of the head) and the tip of the head gets many red blotches(not the same as the brown discoloration - this is actual blood). I’m not particulary concerned about it other than perhaps if it’s in this state perpetually there may be some scarring eventually.

Should I change my grip style and if so please explain?

Thanks

sec,

Shocking would be a good word for me too. The problem is the area, it is not over the whole shaft, just on the foreskin and a little further back. It is very noticable, and very unexplainable (to potential sex partners, that is). If yours is over the whole shaft you might be OK.

Alex,

>Eventually I became concerned that this would not go away and I would have a hell of a time explaining it the rest of my life.<

lol sounds familiar.

>So I decided to take a break from PE and low and behold, the discoloration disappeared completely after 5-6 months.<

5-6 months is better than your whole life. But shit, its still a long time. Your discolouration sounds similar in nature to mine, so it looks like I may be out for some time. :(

>I probably shouldn’t have taken the break, but at least it may help others in deciding whether or not to stop PE.<

I think you did the right thing, if you did not stop it would just get worse, right? I recommend that everyone stay on top of discolouration, and take steps to prevent it when it begins to appear and even before. Then if it builds up, take a break.

I got some scarring too, and that is like other scars on my body, lighter than the rest of the skin, although you can only really notice it by stretching the skin out and actually looking. Obviously they show up a little more on discoloured skin.
This is on your glans then?

I think your grip is putting too much pressure on the head, or you are pulling for too long. Try different grips (there is a picture of a good grip in a thread called ‘tunica moves and how to do them’), and try shortening the length of your stretches (if you do 30 second pulls, try 15 seconds), and slapping your penis on your leg after each stretch. That should do it, but red blotches are quite common, and are fine as long as they do not escalate into bigger problems.

I jelq squeeze the wrong way

My dick accumulated blood or something, cause after I started to do the jelq squeeze at 100% erection.. I got a black bubble on the side of my dick.
I didn’t care and kept going cause all of the exercises have already helped me tremendously.. Also I hear that the Jelq squeeze is the way to get rid of Premature Ejaculation.. Anytime I use my PC muscles to a certain extent.. Cum starts to come out and I get pissed off at my dick and decide to Jelq harder and I think I just experience a damn injury..

Will it heal and go away

Wow! You just resurrected an old thread. Go easy and be patient. I got a little crazy when I first started, and developed a lot of those injuries that feel like a string of pearls right under the skin. Slow and steady is the way to go.
