I think the difference is where the pressure is coming from. With Clamping it comes from within. With pumping it comes from the outside.

When I’m clamped and fully hard I’m at 1/4” more girth. I have been clamping for a couple of weeks now and there seems to be a difference but it might just be in my head.

Anyway I’m going to try it for a month along with Jelqing to see if there is any girth gain.

I maybe wrong but I was under the impression that pumping caused a reduced pressure inside the tube making the pressure inside the penis higher than usual. Isn’t this the same as clamping?

ok, did a search, but I still have quite figured out what clamping is. I mean, I get the idea of probably what it is, but whats the difference between pinching at the base versus using a “clamp”. If someone can provide a link, I would appreciate it.

Wad: this is a very interesting thread. For what it is worth, here’s my two cents. I get almost 1/2” gain in girth while the clamp is on for ten minutes, flaccid length increases almost 2” once I’ve popped the clamp after an aggressive EU session. The flaccid shrinks back up to normal after about ten minutes without the clamp, but the bogus girth gain hangs in there an hour or so. I’m not sure what the long term effects of all this punishment will be, and you may be right about the delusional steroid syndrome, but half of the battle of the incredible slow process of penis enlargement is keeping ourselves motivated enough to stick with it for the long haul, and I’ll tell you, seeing my unit hanging five to six inches flaccid at 6-1/2” girth sure is motivating.

I do the 10 minute Ulis in between hanging sets mostly just to trap fresh blood in the head before squeezing it out for the next hang set. I’ve made some pretty good girth gains, but I’m doing a lot of other girth work, so I can’t be sure the gains have been from the Ulis alone. The problem with my method is the engorgement is just above the hanger’s wrap thus causing a slight baseball bat shape. Finishing up the hanging session with some aggressive pumping seems to even this out and keep me in the 6-1/4 to 6-1/2” pseudo-girth mode for about 24 hours. This is all fine and good if one has a hot date or is visiting a nudist camp, but two days without PE and I’m back to a 7-1/8” BPEL X 6 inch to a 6-1/8” girth and I’ve been plateaued here for quite a while. So whose to say if any of these efforts are perminate?

But how are you guys clamping after pumping when you are all lubed up? I can only get a good Uli when my dick is dry. I usually clamp over the TheraP wrapped around the traditional (Bib) Theraband-cotton hangers’s wrap..

1/4-3/8” increase after a nice clamp routine.


Start: EL: 5.8" EG: 4.8" Current: EL: Approx 7.0" EG: 5.7"

I just started clamping yesterday. I measured an increase of 3/4” while in the clamp. I only clamp for 2-3 minutes at a time, but I clamp it fairly tight to trap the blood. When I grabbed my cock, it didn’t even feel like mine. It felt HUGE!!!!

Post clamping girth lasts for about 30-45 minutes. I hope this is a sign of permanent gains to come.

Is it OK if my cock turns almost purple while it is engorged in the clamp?? This is why I only leave it on for 2-3 minutes at a time. The color returns to normal right after I take the clamp off. Then I do some light jelqing to restore circulation.

Yeah, Ed, I hope no offense was taken. I’ve often gleaned some real nuggets from the freer kind of association that a thread can inspire - either mine or someone else’s. And that’s what this place is all about: each guy learning all that he can which will (hopefully) give him the gains he craves.

I get just a fraction over 1/4”, whilst clamped, during the second set of 10 minutes each.

It does feel a better workout than pumping, though the increase in size doesn’t last very long. This seems pretty typical as I don’t get much size increase from jelqing either and it fades fairly quickly post workout.

I’ve returned to using my clamps the last few days. If you can hang for 20 minutes safely, you can probably clamp for the same amount of time. I try to do 10 minute sets though.

I haven’t measured temporary increases, but they are definitely there(maybe 1/4”)

I’ve just added clamping to my pumping routine. Most pumpers agree that adding manual PE increases the effectiveness. I believe it is because of generating internal pressure. Pumping generates external vacuum which increases the relative internal pressure. I like pumping because it is a great way to generate reproducible evenly dispersed force. Clamping makes sense because it also seems to distribute the force in a even manor. I am starting a clamp for 5 minutes, pump for 5 minutes with heat and Kegels, for 1-3 cycles, and finish off with a velcro wrap to maintain some of the erection for at least a half hour. I think one force makes the other work more efficiently. Time will tell!

oh yeah, my friend Road Hog…it is because of your inspiration that I added clamping! I think it is a great way to increase internal pressure and hopefully increase the effectiveness of the pumping…and vise-versa.

ps, got my clamps (medium) at home depot for 99 cents! They are great!!!

pps Road Hog, what do you consider too much?

After doing some good clamp work I gain anywhere from 1/4 to 3/4 of an inch in girth. This depends on how long I clamp for. The longer I clamp the bigger my pump is.
