Free cableclamps

Does anyone remember this post by Ike:

Back then that post inspired me to send a testimonial to them about how my parents use all sorts of cabletie like gadgets which only work once and are ugly etc. and how I would love to get my hands on their clamps.

Apparently a company in Belgium is going to distribute the cableclamps all over Europe including the Netherlands and they were send my testimonial. Today someone of that company asked me for my address so he could send me a couple of them as the very first :D

This is fantastic news for all European PE’ers, the cableclamps are coming!

The guy never responded to my replie so yesterday I decided to mail him again. He told me he’s going to send it out today and would like to receive some feedback from me :D

I’m already almost at 6” girth so I guess once I have the clamps I will have to add at least another .5”.

I finally got them today, 3 small clamps and 1 medium. I was hoping for a bit more of them. But at least I can do extreme horses now without having to use my hands by using a hoseclamp & cableclamp combo.

I’m going to ask which stores in europe they will be supplying.

Congratulations! The only thing better than cable clamps are free cable clamps. I salute your ingenuity in submitting the testimonial. Just a little writing and you got a clamp. And better, they delivered it to your door. You are an inspiration Piet, and absolute proof in the value of speaking up. It is exciting to think the cable clamp shortage in Europe may indeed be coming to an end. Of course that ruins my get-rich-quick plan to fill my trimaran with cable clamps, sail over, and make a killing on the Black PE Market…

If you order enough from the cableclamp site you can put your own name on it and sell them with a PE manual ;)
