Frequent urination and PE

Here lately Ive been experiencing the need to urinate alot more often than normal. At first I contributed this to me working out late and drinking alot of fluids then coming home and having to urinate alot before bed and in the middle of the night while sleeping. Yesterday I did a pump/clamp session. I never clamp too extreme and no longer than 5-7 minutes. For some reason Ive been having to go alot since yesterday and this morning. I was doing some reasearch on causes of frequent urination and urinary tract infections, kidney problems, prostate enlargement, and lots of other stuff came up. Im in my mid 20’s so hopefully my prostate is fine but Im wondering if any PE exercises could be contributing to this problem. Anyone have any input other than “go to the doctor” (which I will do if it continues throughout the day) or experienced the samethings?

Actually I started drinking cranberry juice yesterday and it seems to have helped some. Cranberry juice is good for UTI’s and kidneys (kidney stones, etc..)so hopefully it’ll resolve the problem.

The feeling was a constant pressure of me having to go. Ive had kidney stones in the past and thought it may be another one but there has been no pain. We’ll see what happens, if nothing works I’ll go to the doctor in a few days.

Kidney stones will sometimes do that.

Better get your prostate checked out, bigger. You might have picked up a bacterial infection there and trust me, you don’t want that to get worse. :) I doubt it has anything to do with the clamping.

If you have bouts of fatigue that go along with this I wouldn’t rule out borderline hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

Have you been drinking more caffeine than usual? Check your diet to see if anything has changed that may contain a diuretic. A bladder infection is not out of the question but I thought it gave you the “sensation” you had to go and not actually increase your urine supply.

Gut Scramblin' goodness.

Both kidney stones Ive had in the past was accompanied with severe pain in my lower back and nausea.

I know men usually dont start having prostate issues until later in life, usually after 40 but anythings possible. Im 26 so hopefully everythings fine but I will go to the doctor if it doesnt get better. Have you had an infection before avocet8?

Not really feeling tired either. As a matter of fact Im still very active at the gym and working out just as hard as I always have…just having to urinate more.

I dont drink caffeine at all, or very minimal amounts. My diet is pretty much the same, Im taking a new protein supplement but that shouldnt be causing anything like this.

Yup. Been there. Multiple events spread over five years. Not fun at all but got it licked.

Ironically, we consider prostatitis an older guy’s problem but there are plenty of men in their 20s and 30s who experience it.

You may not have an infection; hope so. But do get it checked out rather than wait. Harder to deal with if you wait.

Prostate issues can be caused by hormonal changes. I know that most people don’t agree with this, but I think that the constant stimulation of the penis without ejaculation causes a hormonal change. Sex itself causes the release of lots of hormones, why isnt this possible? I know that I don’t have any evidence to support it, but is it possible that the increase in hormonal activity ( not necassarily just testosterone) within the first few months of PE might be a contributor to growth? Could it be that the body compensates hormonally after a few months of PE and then the gains are slower?

I know that alot of peoples say that the penis doesnt grow after puberty, but what evidence do we have to prove that? Actually, it has been said that the ears, nose and Penis keep growing as a man gets older and you can see that in old men with bigger ears and noses. I also know that I am larger than I was in my 20s even before PE. Not alot but a little. I also know that lots of people have taken testosterone and state no increase, but were they PEing at the same time?

This could help explain the rest periods that help growth as well as the newbie gains that guys get when they start out.

I went to the doctor this afternoon and he checked my prostate, urine test, and glucose test (finger prick). Everything seemed ok except there was sugar in my urine. After doing the finger prick test the number came out to 108. Im not sure exactly what this means, all I know is he said if it was closer to 200 he would be more concerned with diabetes. He does however want me to come back monday morning for a complete fasted blood test to be certain its not diabetes. He also mentioned cystits which is an infection of the bladder. After doing some research online I found that blood sugar levels of 108 are within normal range, especially after having a protein shake 2 hours prior. Hopefully I know more monday after a full blood test is completed. I also have an appointment with my homeopathic doctor too.

Normal range on the high end can mean a pre diabetic state.
