Tadgain: I’ve used many things—the Bib Hanger, the Wenchette, and the Vacu-Hanger. I’ve tried hanging from all kinds of angles, BTC, SO, SU, OTL, you name it. I’ve hung both light and heavy (25#). I’ve been persistent (6 months straight with no gains).
I can’t say for sure that hanging did “nothing” for me; perhaps it helped contribute to gains I achieved later from other routines. But I never saw a BPEL gain during the course of a hanging campaign.
Mr. F: My girth gains have been reasonably permanent. I started at 5.1 and worked up to a peak of 6.2. That was too big for me, so I stopped all girth work and settled back down to about 5.9, where I am today.
I continue to do PE now and then—mostly jelqing and stretching. Perhaps this is contributing to the persistance of my gains. But certainly in my experience the girth gains have stuck around. Even when I completely ignore my dick for months, I’m still 0.8” bigger than I was when I started. The gains are permanent enough for me.
I’ve never pumped or clamped, so I can’t speak for those methods and the permanence of gains resulting from those techniques. My girth gains came from jelqing, stretching, squeezing, and kegeling.
