Hello gents, good topic. One of my first posts here..

Just curious, how much pressure are you pulling while stretching? I understand to start with newbie routine and light pressure at first but hearing about a “lig popping” and really needing to keep the ligs in a fatigued state has raised my eyebrow.

1. How much pressure is enough?

2. Can you elaborate on the ligs? The fatigue and the popping? Is daily stretching required to keep them in a fatigued state? Maybe have 1-2 days off a week for recovery?

I’ll elaborate on the popping since it has happened to me multiple times. Ever had a loud joint pop? Well it can happen in the ligaments in your penis. It is frightening the first time it happens, mainly because you are just waiting silently for what seems like an eternity for the pain to come. I thought “surely I just ripped off a ligament” but nothing came of it. They are completely harmless and normal. Not everybody gets ligament pops so if you don’t have a ligament pop it doesn’t mean you are doing anything wrong.

My ligament pops happened while I was jelqing, not while I was manual stretching, just for your information.

I know this is hard describe, but how hard are people pulling in order to have a pop?

There is no objective answer to this because everyone is different in all aspects. Some people are stronger than others, some have stronger ligaments, some just have ligaments that pop a lot. What a power-lifter describes as easy for him may be hard for another person, or impossible for another.

Does that mean you did not warm up?
