getting your mind into PE
shame i can’t post this rambling in main forum, oh well, hopefully some senior members look here.
I got to thinking after reading mega posts in which a lot of comments were made to involving the mind to visualize gains and success. I have been a student of metaphysics for over 15 years now, and have read oodles of books from a plethora of authors. The reason being, as for most humans, is to increase our LOT (no, not loss of tug) in life, become better beings, make more money and the ability to manipulate our life circumstances.
After contemplation on the whole PE program, my cerebral cortex said "yo dude", remember those mainstay books you used as bibles as you built a life for yourself and total autonomy (I now own a self-made biz that sells 3 million in product per year = cha-ching, and worked well with bodybuilding as well). My mind was recalling various quotes that were stored in my sub-conscious like "if you affirm, you confirm", "if you believe it, you’ll see it", plus numerous others. My mind then questioned me "yo dude", what happened to the POSITIVE outlook you developed for years? (why does my mind keep saying yo dude to me?)
Shall I get to the point now? In a minute ok, I need to blab a little more first. We can formulate personal PE programs for ourselves with great expectations from info gained from this great forum, and put that program into motion, yet REMEMBER, after you have read all those posts, you also came across some negative comments about the goals accomplished by members (is this a pun?), coupled with your own possible pre-conceived negative notions in which PE was possible. (can I use possible twice in a sentence?). OK, I think you get where I’m going here, mindset in PE.
After all my babbling, the reason for this thread is to realize that your mindset DOES matter when it comes implementing a PE program!!!!
Readers digest version = "THOUGHT PRECEDES ACTION" (how can you do anything without first THINKING about it) If you don’t KNOW this, practice it, research it, learn it, Then LIVE IT. We are cerebral beings, not biological puppets.
Do yourself a big favor and buy these books, and incorporate the mind as an integral part of your PE program!!! (also go to your local book store and be a BROWSER) (Rodney dangerfield nyuk nyuk).
1) Affirmations - Stuart Wilde - ISBN 1-56170-167-X (my personal bible) he also has his own personal website. He’s become a bit over the edge, metaphysically, but his early stuff rocks!
2) As You Think - James Allen - ISBN 1-57731-074-8 (amazing to-the-point little bible, will change your life)
3) You’ll See It When You Believe It - Dr. Wayne Dyer - ISBN = don’t know, but here’s an amazon link http://www.amaz on.com/exec/obi … 0115419-0661645
You don’t need to read 50 books. More isn’t better (this ain’t no lig stretch)
Read these. They will change your life and maybe your length and girth.
My brain hurts. Was that cerebral flatulence?
