You’re right about the heavier hangers.
However, I’ve reviewed the CE requirements and a device doesn’t necessarily have to be safe in order to get one. I’ve gone through UL a number of times and I know a lot depends on what it was tested for. And I find it hard to believe a CE laboratory would agree to test the PeniMaster on a bunch of guys for 12 hours a day - which makes me wonder what they really had the lab test for.
There are a number of pelvic, urinary, erectile, testicular, circulatory and long-term-use issues that would need to be addressed by a full test - especially since the device is user-applied without any doctor supervision.
The way it works is: You hire a lab to test your product. You tell them what certification you want. You give them several of the product and they test it according to the certificate you’re looking for. Which essentially means you could get a gun CE certified - if, for example, you had it tested as a novelty paperweight.
Personally, I think the boasting about CE approval is a sales technique. But I will agree the PeniMaster is safer than a regular noose design.
