Any suggestions for a contraption that will allow 1.5’ distance without blinding me? I can’t seem to find an angle that works.

Sunglasses? The glare from my red 100w can get annoying, I can only imagine how bright it must be at 250W…

I just got mine today - 100w.

Positioned a little less than 30cm (a foot) away.

Had to use my arm to keep the angle of the light correct. Will work on finding away to use it handless.

they sale holders for the bulbs at wal mart in the hardware dept.

i use them in attics while running duct pipe

they have clamps on them an can be put at any angle

yes please do yourself a favor and get some shades or cheap sunglasses

Yeah, I got a clamp thing for it. But I couldn’t find anything to clamp it to! Finally, I clamped it to the top back of a chair and angled it across my bed. So everything’s worked out.

I’ve been using moisturizing soap in the shower and lotion directly after infrared exposure. What do you guys think about that?

I would suggest applying the lotion before the IR exposure. SPF of 15 or higher should do the trick.

In terms of moisturizing soap, I have never used it, but I’ve heard that it can do a wonderful job in maintaining your skin’s texture, leaving it smooth to the touch, while giving you that highly sought after look, and pleasant scent.
