Guest vs members

Right now there are 65 guest just sucking the information off the board and offering nothing in return, why don’t you guys join and start posting and be part of the community. I have been at it for three years and the only thing that keeps me going is the great people I keep meeting on the forum. Do you guest know that there are many forums you can’t see until you join.

Good ones too! The 3 or 4 you can see are nothing. Plenty more information in other forums that you can’t see. So come on in and stay a while we don’t bite.

Now my wife on the other…. Well that’s another story. :D

And remember it doesn’t cost anything to join. You just sign up. And you don’t get sent unwanted e-mail ads or anything.

Participate when/if you want. Just lurk when you want. And if you want to ask questions or make comments it’s all annonymous.

And like Dino said there are many other forums you can go to.

Actually since it is free I’m not sure why we become members to go there, perhaps it’s because of adult content.

Oh and there’s a place you can go to check out peoples progress and keep track of your own also.

But, you know, whatever you want.

I think the fact that Hotmail can’t be used to register has something to do with it.

I would second this opinion.

That said, people should still register to see what they’re missing.

If anybody has a hot mail account just go to yahoo and sign up it takes a total of 2 minutes. I forgot why we don’t take hot mail accounts but it had something to do with security.

No accountability with Hotmail. At least Yahoo attempts to verify who a person is before they give them an account.

We get a lot of guys that try to register with fake email addresses even though the registration page explains why that won’t work, guys do it any way. So three or four of the “guests” at any given moment, may be these guys trying to figure out why their applications for membership we declined.

That and the constant presence of search engine bots, as many as 20 at a time.

I was a lurker for about two weeks before I joined this forum. I guess my reasoning was that I could get the information that I needed without any unwanted solicitation or even the chance that someone could identify me from my email addy. However, after reading several of you guys posts I realized that you guys must have had the same concerns, and you decided that it wasn’t a problem so I joined.

I was disappointed about the Hotmail not being accepted but I can understand that Thunder needs to be able to have some control over who joins.

Anyways, to all the quests lurking in the background, come on in the water is fine.

I of course had the same concerns about unwanted solicitations but have received exactly ZERO because of Thunder’s. Other sites I wasted $50 on a membership for send me crap email all the time just waiting for my son to see and click on the links. I appreciate not having that here. If somebody at Thunder’s needs to contact me, they can send me a Private Message that can only be seen here by me. Why do other sites continuously send irritating emails like that? They’re trying to sell you something. Come on and register your membership to Thunder’s, you’ll never regret it.

Yeah, speaking of unwanted e-mails, my hotmail account gets nothing but unwanted e-mails. I have to periodically delete all of them, I use that e-mail as a “catch-all” of the junk mail. My other e-mail account hardly ever gets any e-mail, and that is the one I used to register here. I can attest to the fact that there is no unwanted solicitations coming from Thunders.
