Had my Surgery

I had the lengthening surgery on 9/26. It went off without a hitch. It was very smooth and easy.

Guess what?

I don’t have a huge ugly scar.

My dick works fine and it did not fall off and it still gets hard when the wind blows.

My erection angle is the same from what I can tell. It’s not hanging free and unstable and pointing at the ground.

I can probably keep going …

Here are several “don’t do it” data points I got on this board. I wanted to respond to some as a way of proving another person experience.

*** You will have this huge disgusting scar at the base of your dick, which is always fun trying to explain to new girlfriends (or should I say “lying to explain”). And no *** my pubes don’t cover it, it is just below the hairline at the base of the shaft.

My scar is small, about 2”. It looks pretty faint and seems like it will heal nicely and not be noticeable at all underneath my pubic hair. It is not just below the hairline it is above the hairline. My girlfriend thinks I tore an abdominal muscle that attaches to my pubic bone. Since I’m athletic she buys it as will every other girl when I bust out the old jock injury story.

*** He cuts ligs and you still have to hang weights off of it. And right after surgery! Then you must hang a specific amount of weight off a freshly cut open groin *** area. It fucking hurts!

I started hanging after 10-days. I did some light manual stretched after about 5-days. The first couple of days I hung 2.5 lbs. for about 10-15 minutes. It was somewhat uncomfortable, but not much. I’ve been hanging for 6-days now and I can hang 2.5 lbs. for an hour with no discomfort at all. And I’m doing ADS up to about 8-hours with no discomfort at all.

*** It is as dumb (and painful) as entering an arm wrestling competition with a broken arm.

There was surprisingly very little pain pretty much from the time I woke up from the surgery. The drain was the most uncomfortable part. I stopped taking my pain meds after a few days.

*** PLUS, your incision keeps getting ripped open because you stretch the skin apart while hanging.

My hanging has not caused my incision to rip open. It has had not been affect at all in that regard.

I guess every experience is different and perhaps I’m lucky so far but my truth is what it is.

Anyway, just about all the penis boards want nothing to do with my experience, which I think is nuts when we are all here and at other places because we want or wish we had a bigger dick.

So far I am VERY HAPPY. You can’t imagine how good it feels to have done something more than every possible non surgical option and to know I’ve finally done it all with respect to a hang up I have had for a very long time. It’s liberating.

I almost don’t care what I gain because I have now exercised every possible option to achieve a bigger dick and can now accept what I have or will have now that I have had the surgery.

First,I’m glad you’re very happy with your surgical outcome. The fact that you almost don’t care if you gain or not, now that you’ve exercised most possible options for getting bigger, is a plus in your recovery. Good luck in getting what you’ve been wanting.

How much did it cost?

baywatch… good on you and good to hear all went well.

One question I’d like to know is has your size changed much …in length and / or girth? And do you notice a big difference?

What are your measurements before and after surgery? What sort of device was given to you for hanging and what is the max weight the Dr. has recommended?

I've been at this now for almost a full month with two months prior of partial build up months. I think I am experiencing shrinkage and it's messing with my head. It's that or I am getting used to my post PE size, which is usually 1/4” length and girth thanks to some some light pumping between jelq sets. When that temporary size increase goes away I feel tiny. It's crazy that 1/4” especially in girth feels like that big of a difference. Because I can't keep that size I get all depressed and feel tiny. Any words of wisdom?

Kiind of makes me wonder how much of the ligs were actually cut? If the doc just took out a percentage of the ligs or what? If he did, then in theory this would make the hanging/ADSing easier but not change anything much right now.

But being the sceptic that I am, I must confess that I find it unlikely that you were tugging skin crosswise to a stithced up wound without very much discomfort.

And since all those quotes came from me, all I can really say is “good for you”.

Apparently everything that happened to me, didn’t happen to you.

If all goes well for you, then all I will do is wish I met your doctor and not mine.

I do have a big HORRIBLE scar, below the hairline, highly noticeable.

I have a huge lump of scar tissue at the base, highly noticeable.

My scar ripped open daily from hanging a weight, which could be why it became so big.

But don’t throw it back in my face as an “I told you so”.

I am sincerely glad your surgery went well. You seem to have a great attitude. Don’t be too discouraged by some of the negativity that may come out on your thread. This is a natural PE site and surgical PE has never done well here. We hear mostly horror stories. The people with success stories dont seem to post those successes. Please keep us updated.

Baywatch, glad to hear you have avoided the negative stuff that guys were warning you about. I’m sure the warnings were well meant.

On the positive side, how much length do you think you have gained flaccid and erect?

I was against you having the surgery as I made the mistake of doing so and consider myself an expert in the area. I have always said that Dr Alter is an excellent surgeon and he is the only guy in America worth seeing. The scarring has little to do with the actual surgeon, more how the patient heals. The reason I was against the surgery is because it doesn’t work and you wont gain any extra length. If you do gain it will be from the hanging. You would almost certainly have gotten the same results without the surgery. The key difference may well be that now you have paid for the surgery it will make you determined to stick to a solid hanging routine.

I have heard many people say you wont gain except by hanging. But if the ligs are constricting gains wont cutting them help you to stretch the other tissues for gains?

I may be wrong on this, it’s been a few years since my surgery.

I think they only cut a few off the top, causing it to “drop” instead of the higher, normal look.

I doubt they can cut much more than that without risking completely severing the ligs from the bone, therefore causing impotence.

My surgery was horrible, I hope his turned out good.

It might be satisfying, knowing that doctors may find a way to make us all bigger.

His hanging will be the main reason for growth, plus less attached ligs to stretch.

Kind of the rubberband effect.

But as I recall, the cut ligs heal by attaching to something, causing scar tissue buildup, which is even harder to stretch.
