I didn’t know anything about the cruise before hand, so I couldn’t have let you know about it in advance. Besides, I don’t know where “NI” is, and if it is close enough for you to come! :shrug:

Five of my friends had asked me to take me out to lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, which is near the Hudson River. When I arrived at the restaurant, they said they had changed their minds and that we would be lunching elsewhere. We walked a few blocks away, and I found us walking up the gangplank to the ship. That was when I discovered we would be taking the luncheon cruise. It was a BIG surprise, and a very, very nice one. The weather was great, in the mid 70’s, with a brisk breeze, but comfortable. I had surf & turf which was exceptional, the wine was light and refreshing, and the small chocolate cake with a sparkler, was perfect. We all had a great time!

If we do it again next year, and you want to join with them in hosting me for my birthday, you are certainly welcome. :)
