I think girding up the loins refers more to protection in the biblical times when they wore short skirt type thingies and girding up etc. really meant Protecting your balls so your opponent couldn’t grab them while you were otherwise employed in gouging out his eyes. - Just a thought though

Yes they do and no of course you’re not kidding yourself. If you look at it this way, two birthdays a year, especially in your case, soon mount up to an enormous figure and you are quite slim I believe. Mind you if you looked at it that way, I suppose you really would be kidding yourself :nodding:
