Birthdays are times of reflection……..I remember when I joined on 1 November 2001 that I was in total awe of the high quality of the discussions here; I had been at the PE Forum for the previous 10 months.

I was really glad that a lot of people I respected most from the PE Forum were here…..and a bit pissed of with my stupidity for not finding this site earlier!!!

You made me a senior member straight away, which got me well over my reticence about posting in this “rarefied” atmosphere……but my big posting days ——aligned with my fast gaining days——(sigh!!!!) were really at BA’s Forum, and even now am only up to 300 here.

Wow, I’ve been a member just about as long as this place has been here, and I’ve been a mod now for almost a year! How time flies.

I want to say how much I enjoy Thundersplace and what a quality site I believe this is. I am so thankful to be a part of this group. No, we are a family!
