Basically I don’t really get much expansion while clamping, I have heard you get the best result by jelqing first then clamping.

jelqing and maybe short and low intense pumping before(and also after) help to get more expansion. Always warm up so the tissue gets more loose.

Try different wrapping methods. For example. Wrap while you are flaccid or semi.
I get more expansion when I wrap a bit looser a semi engorged stimulating myself until like 90% and then I wrap another layer or constrict/clamp tighter.
Basicly you want to have some inflow but not much outflow.
I get up to 0.7 inches expansion when I hit the sweet spot.

Several clamping sets may be required before you see expansion. It takes me at least 3 sets before I’ll see a significant expansion. Wrap and clamp as tight as possible, you want as much internal pressure as you can stand for a full 10 minutes.

if you want to see some significant results, do some Wantsmore’s fulcrums before you clamp.

I’d say getting over 0.25 inches expansion would be sufficient.

I’m with Monty and Dino,

I experimented with clamping for a few months and was disappointed that I didn’t seem to be getting the expansion that I had read so much about.

When I followed Monty’s advice and started doing at least 3 10 minute sets … and edged (like Dino) during my clamping sets … things changed a bit.

The change was not nearly what I was hoping for but I started to see a little more than an 8th of an inch in expansion

The jury is still out on whether or not that expansion converts to gains … stay tuned

There was an interesting thread where LV asked whether it was the lack of oxygen that caused growth or expansion. Try looking for that thread, I don’t remember the result. But I’d definitely say you need some expansion beyond what you can kegel your penis to, to get growth.

I think LV decided that lack of oxygen wasn’t responsible for growth.

Also most of the threads on deforming connective tissue talk about a threshold of 4 or 5% strain, presumably measured in length, so if you have a 15cm girth you would be looking for at least 6mm or a 1/4” expansion.

That seems in line with what most guys get.

That figure could vary though depending on how much elasticity you have in the tunica, you may well reach a high enough tension with less expansion.

You might try adding a little heat. Be careful though when your pressured up and the skin is tight it doesn’t take much heat to burn the skin. Think more in the line of adding warmth rather then heat.

When clamping, which is rarer for me these days, I use an electric heating pad at the lowest setting. The expansion is phenomenal!

Clamping is a bit of a challenge for me. Since I have started doing it regularly, I have really had to work to keep the intensity up for the 10 minute sets.

I am edging and also BTB jelquing to keep the intensity. I am trying to get an understanding of why my erection intensity seems to be suffering.
I don’t necessarily have an EQ issue in general, it is just that recently (last couple months) I have had to really work to have an intense clamping session.

I have been tinkering around with the idea of taking a 3 to 4 week decon break … but I was hopiing to make it to my one-year mark (October) before doing a decon.

Thoughts?

I clamped for about 3 months last year and ran into the same problem, the only cure was time off, at least a few weeks.

Cap thanks for confirming what i should have figured out on my own.

Just curious … did you gain any girth in these 3 months?

Not a thing I’m afraid, probably overdid it but in 2 years I haven’t gained from anything so I’m not a good example !

Wantsmore’s fulcrums will usually get things moving when you feeling stuck.
