Heat too High in Warm-up?

Heat too High in Warm-up?

So tell me your warmup process.

I use a sunbeam heating pad, and I put it up on high.
Then I wrap it around my shaft and wait for 5 minutes.

Pretty simple, right…

I like to heat it to a little below not bearable…
My heating pad can’t maintain consistent heat though…

Anyway, am I heating too much?

My only reference is microwaving a rice heating pad, and that stuff gets REALLY hot.

Any thoughts?

Goal: 7.3 BPEL

The trick with the rice sock is to make sure the rice is evenly distributed through out the sock when you microwave it. Depending on how much rice you use, you’ll eventually find the right amount of time to nuke the sock.

I nuke it for 33 seconds and the temperature is perfect.

I have found that two minutes works good for heating the rice sock. After the first set, subsequent heating takes less time. I only heat for a minute and a half after my first warmup, and the rice sock is very toasty. Obviously if you warm up and then do something else for a couple of hours, your pretty much back to zero and two minutes again. Hope this is clear enough. Sounds confusing to me and I wrote it.

It’s not too hot unless you burn something.
