Height vs. Length vs. Girth Project

Something’s a little odd here. From cursory examination of the data, it seems like the average height is like 6’ tall. And the average length and girth are also pretty high.

Men usually think they’re an inch or two taller than they actually are.

I think this is a very valuable survey, but just purely speaking of how it is being run, I think it is somewhat flawed. Where as the old pre-PE girth and length surveys (See my sig) were anonymous, this one is not. I think that it makes it more likely than not that the larger guys reply than the smaller guys. We’ll see in the end if the averages match up to the old surveys. I have a feeling they will be higher for this reason.

Esc, yes, it’s a cool survey. One other possible problem, though, is that the “third variable” of the degree to which a guy is prone to exaggerate can produce spurious correlations between length, girth, and height. Suppose, for example, that two guys participated in the survey, who in reality are both 5’10”, 6” long, and 5” girth. If one of them is a bit self-deluded or prone to exaggeration or “generous” in his measuring technique, he may report himself as 6’0”, 6.5” long, and 5.25” girth, while the other guy reports his stats accurately. Suddenly, you have a positive correlation between all three measurements, according to the survey, yet no correlation in reality. Now, I’m not proposing that this is a huge problem that would massively distort the data, simply that it is, undoubtedly, one factor that will influence the results. The same thing would happen, of course, with a self-reported survey of IQ and max bench press :)

Esc is reducing the variables to simplify the equations… The more variables, the tougher to analyze the situation. If the height vs. length vs. girth relation exists… for an accurate analysis we should consider the probabilities of guys joining TP… The tallest with big dicks perhaps won’t join… or yes because the dick-body ratio make them feel small… who knows. On the other hand, the short guys with big dicks for sure won’t join TP… Perhaps, the average and short guys with average dicks perhaps will join TP to compensate their self-esteem (like myself). Perhaps the small penis guys won’t put their measurements here because they feel inferior or something like that.

The point of what I’m trying to say is that taking into account more variables is not a really good idea… We can estimate an error to the measurements to make it more “real”, but analyzing more things is madness.

Anyway, for me the height vs. length vs. girth relation is real.

^^^ Agreed that there are too many variables. It could have been improved by making it anonymous although this is difficult given VBulletin’s poll limitations - there are three variables here, not one, and people would invariably mess up on a multiple-checkbox poll.

As far as the guys on Thunders…well I’d contend that it is pretty close to the real world distribution. Comparisons to outside sources have shown this to be true. I think the one difference would be that there are fewer truly big ones here (8x6 and up) than in the real world. Not too many fewer, but fewer for sure.

Yea it seems the majority of the guys posting on this thread that are over 6ft tall have above 5 inch girth. I think that the girth stat will be well above average from Kinsey, lifestyles, etc. This also skews my perception a bit, now i’m thinking that taller guys on average are about the same length as shorter guys but the taller guys have more girth. No wonder my oldest sons mother likes tall guys (I think she’s a size queen).
