I am working on an article and could use some help. I know I could use the search but I am looking for fresh responses to the following questions:

What would be the best beginners routine with jelqing?

What percentage of the results that you have obtained to you attribute to jelqing?

How do you know when to step up the intensity/frequency of your jelqing routine?

How do you jelq; standing, sitting, or lying down? Why?

If you could answer any or all it would sure help.

What would be the best beginners routine with jelqing?
I’ve read some suggesting that 300 jelqs for 2 weeks than 600 after the 2 weeks. I’ve also read about 1000 jelqs a day. What I did was 300 first 2 weeks than add a 100 reps after every 2 weeks, 5 on 2 off.

What percentage of the results that you have obtained to you attribute to jelqing?
So far I’ve gained some length and girth but I also do stretches. But I feel that my girth was do to the jelqs. But length can come from jelqs as well with the constant pulling and stretching IMO.

How do you know when to step up the intensity/frequency of your jelqing routine?
Just listen to my wang, personally I feel that if you don’t get sore you’re not doing enough.

How do you jelq; standing, sitting, or lying down? Why?
I jelq standing or sitting, it all depends on how I feel that certain day. Don’t think this really carries any weight on gains but I could be wrong.

I know I’m not really well known here but I thought it would just be nice to contribute to your efforts. Hope this helps in any way possible.

100-150 light wet/dry jelqs. Then increase the number of reps and intensity week by week according to how your dick is responding.

Almost 100% of my minimal girth gains (0.3”) have come from jelqing. I can't quantify what percent of my length gains have come from jelqing.

How do you know when to step up the intensity/frequency of your jelqing routine?
I haven't stepped up intensity or frequency on a consistent basis. Like everything else in PE, I judge possible change by how my dick is reacting to the exercise.

How do you jelq; standing, sitting, or lying down? Why?
Wet jelq sitting on the side of the bathtub. This position allows for a good grip for all angles. Also, it's convenient to just turn the shower on for quick and easy clean up.

I agree with what’s been said above. Just to complicate things, here’s a few quick thoughts about how I jelq:

I’ve never really liked the hand over hand method. I talked about it in this post last spring: Ike - Where can I find…

I usually jelq using that method described there — jelqing up with one hand while compressing from the glans with the other. I’ve always called it a horse jelq; it has a different name on MOS.

I also sometimes do the jelq I described here, where I turn things sideways: half twist jelq That whole thread has a lot of good stuff.

I really think there are at least three, maybe four different kinds of jelqing. I jelq to warm up, and I jelq to increase girth, and I jelq to increase length, and I jelq to increase head size. Warm up jelqs are less intense and are just intended to get things circulating before stretching, hanging or squeezing. Girth jelqs are slow and very intense — really sort of a horse jelq or uli jelq. Length jelqing just means pulling hard outward — or for me, downward — at the end of the jelq. Head jelqs are just girth jelqs where I squeeze hard and hold at the end to expand the head. Warm up jelqs are quite short — a few seconds at most. For me, other kinds take 5 to 20 seconds each.

Seriously though, this sounds interesting. Do you find it helps more with girth? That’s what I would suppose, though I can’t test it right now because it would go against my temporary (until the inflammation in my left hand goes away) no PE policy.

You caught me. It should be called the Dry DLD Dual Jelq. The proprietor of that site was actually the first person in the history of the world to jelq with one hand while compressing the shaft with the other hand.

Yes, I think it certainly helps more more with girth than regular, one directional jelqing, because by compressing from two directions you’re creating that much more lateral pressure on the shaft.

I do this kind of jelqing at between 50 and 90 percent erection, so there’s a nice amount of chubby to jelq. Then I do a tight underhand OK grip around the base with one hand while cupping my glans in a slightly open fist with the other hand. Then just jelq slow and strong upward while pushing down towards the base with the other hand. It’s really not rocket surgery. Anyone who has jelqed with one hand while using the other to stabilize the penis has probably done it.
