How a 5% girth gain can make a "big" difference

Come on, guys, someone figure out the formula for surface area, which is really the true difference the girl feels — the real question what is the percentage gain in SURFACE AREA with a given girth/length gain?

Surface area = circumference x length
circumference = pi x diameter

But that is for a cylinder.

I’m not a math whiz but it looks to me that the increase in surface area is linear so this means that the % increase in length will give you the same % increase in surface area. Same thing for girth, % increase of girth will result in the same % increase in surface area.

I’m I correct?

Not quite, or I don’t think so… that would be true if “circumference” and “length” were the only dimensions we were working with. With a girth increase you would have an increase in width too, which would increase the surface area of the head. If you’re looking at a perfect cylinder, the top and bottom surfaces would also increase in surface area, this wouldn’t be the case with a length increase.

I think something closer to the surface area formula we are looking for would be (girth * length) + (pi * (width/2)²), based on the surface area of a cylinder. The girth * length for the “tube” part, plus the area the circle formed by the front end of the penis. Hmm… maybe the area of 1/2 a sphere would be slightly more accurate…

Anyone have the formula for the surface area of a mushroom?

The area of the shaft (surface area of cylinder) + area of the head (1/2 sphere).

I like math, so I’ll give everyone an example of how to calculate the Surface Area (SA) and Volume (V) of your penis. I’m using the simple formula for a cylinder.

One month ago, my measurements were: 5.25 X 4.2
My current measurements are: 5.5 X 4.375

Formulae you need:

Circumference = pi X diameter

SA = 2 X pi X radius X length

V = pi X (r X r) X length

Radius = diameter/2

One month ago:

C = pi X d
4.2 = 3.14 X d
4.2/3.14 = d
1.34 = d (my diameter was 1.34)

SA = 2 X pi X radius X length
SA = 2 X 3.14 X 0.67 X 5.25
SA = 22.09 square inches

V = pi X (r X r) X length
V = 3.14 X (0.67 X 0.67) X 5.25
V = 3.14 X 0.45 X 5.25
V = 7.42 cubic inches

Current measurements:

C = pi X d
4.375 = 3.14 X d
4.375/3.14 = d
1.39 = d (my diameter is 1.39)

SA = 2 X pi X radius X length
SA = 2 X 3.14 X 0.695 X 5.5
SA = 24.0053 square inches

V = pi X (r X r) X length
V = 3.14 X (0.695 X 0.695) X 5.5
V = 3.14 X 0.483 X 5.5
V = 8.34 cubic inches

Comparing my volume, I went from 7.42 to 8.34…..an increase of 12% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now, if you are as bored as I was, you can properly measure how big your penis is.

If you’re using the cylinder forumla for surface area, don’t you have to take away the surface area of the bottom of the cylinder, since we don’t have that “surface” to work with in reference to our penises? Not sure if you took that into account.

Size - what we’re really trying to get at is the INCREASE (percentage-wise) in total surface area, and I would think the increase in surface area of just the base of the cylinder would not be enough to throw things off much - would it?

People here measure things by 1/8 of an inch… it matters to them I bet.

But then I read danglemans post and I would have to agree with him…all we’re interested in is the percentage of growth of the SA of the penis (or volume) and I don’t necessarily think it would make much difference

the only way it would make a big difference is if your base girth is dramatically larger than your mid-shaft girth

also, not everyone’s penis is a perfect cylinder

I think the measurements just help to provide everyone with a good estimation of the SA and V of their penis…and when you see the increase in terms of percentage, I think it’s a bigger pat on the back than knowing you’ve increased your length by 0.25 of an inch and girth by 0.1 of an inch

I made my penis 12% bigger in one month and THIS is the motivation I need to see and constantly tell myself to keep me interested in PE.
