How do YOU measure your flaccid?

I was reading the ideal flaccid size thread and a lot of people said there flaccid were really big compared to their erect measurements while others didn’t.

When measuring flaccid are you using a ruler or tape measure? Bone pressed?

And the thing that I think most of us are measuring different is how we measure it.
When I say my bone pressed flaccid length I stick the ruler into my fat pad and hold my dick straight out by supporting it with a finger underneath it. (Not pulling at all) but what I think others are doing is taking the ruler and following the penis down while it hangs or for even more length using a tape measure.

How are you supposed to measure it?

The difference in these measurements for me is about 1.5-2 inches difference.

You can measure:
NBPFL, which isn’t pushing into your fat pad.
BPFL (bone pressed flaccid length), which the ruler is pressed into the fat pad.
BPFSL (bone pressed flaccid stretch length)

I either measure NBPFL or BPFSL and use a ruler.

Bone Pressed Flaccid Length (BPFL)
Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretched Length (BPFSL)
Non - Bone Pressed Flaccid Length (NBPFL)
Non - Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretched Length (NBPFSL)


Starting stats: 7.5" BPEL x 6.2" MEG

Current Stats BPEL: 8.2" [NBPEL: 7.6"] EG: 6.8" - Goal: 9x7 and beyond

I’m aware of the different types of measurements. What I meant was when you say your flaccid size how are you measuring in it/supposed to?

Just like when someone says their erect length we assume bone pressed unless mentioned otherwise.

I don’t measure it.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Yeah I know, that’s why I only mentioned the three ways most people measure and which two I use. The flaccid length fluctuates but I measure they way it looks while hanging. Those are the standards so if you are doing comparisons, then use like measurements because everyone will measure it differently.

Ok, I see. Well, when I’m conducting official measurments for tracking purposes in my app, I use them all, but since your flaccid length will vary constantly due to a number of variables (outside temp, body core temp, diet, etc), I always use the bone pressed measurement as a reference.

Non - Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretched Length NBPFSL

I’ve been measuring my Bone Pressed Flaccid Stretched Length and I’ve wondered for a while now, how others measure their stretched flaccid length (either BP or Non-BP).

How do they grasp their penis while measuring? Do they grasp behind the glans corona (and so not deforming the glans), or do they grasp the glans (thus squeezing/deforming the glans)?

I’ve always grasped the glans.

The way I measure my stretched flaccid is bone pressed and I grasp the head. Grasping below the glans isn’t as accurate/consistent plus it plus grabbing by the head adds an extra half inch or so.

Me neither, it varies way too much to mean anything. On great days it’s going to be 5” and on bad days it’s going to be 2”, so why bother?
