I was watching “So Gay TV” on OutTV hoping for some size info and there it was. The host asked a urologist, amongst question about enlargement surgery, what the average size is. He said, “For Toronto, I’d say 5.5 inches.”

There you go. He also mentioned that the Latin Europeans (“machismo” cultures) are the most likely to want that type of surgery.

This brings up an important question: What exactly is the ethnic makeup of those participating in these studies? Would not the results of study on penis size in Atlanta, with its high percentage of blacks, differ considerably from one done in, say, Shanghai, with it’s high percentage of asians? I hate to bring up the racial issue, but I don’t think it can be left out of the equation, as statistical variations have been diserned in penis size among different races. Toronto is not a large city, by any stretch of the imagination; but, it has an enormous asian population(I would guess around 25%), combined with a small black population (about 8%). Could not this convergence, possibly, decrease the average?

An average is an average, I agree. But did Kinsey’s studies take place in China? Africa? Are you saying that a survey of Penis size of say 3000 people in Botswana, would yield the same result as a similar number in Shandong province in China? I’m a little confused by this remark.

The average that is obtained is dependent upon the ethnic makeup of those being studied. I just don’t know how much Kinsey or others bore this in mind. I have heard that asians do statistically have smaller penises; the figure that often keeps coming up is around 5 inches nbp by 4.5 girth. If I were in China with my 6x6 incher, I could say that I’m above average with great confidence. I wouldn’t have quite the same confidence saying that in Botswana, although I’m aware that my girth is quite decent.

My wife and I have been married for 38 years. We never talk about our past sex life that we had before we were married. She has never commented about my penis size. I know we have watched porn. So I’m sure she has judged my 7” with others.

The bottom line is that I am her old man and she has to make the best of what I got. You certainly won’t be married long if you start comparing your mates body to someone else. That goes for male or female. Nobody has a perfect body.

Self-measured studies tend to put the average at about 6, while controlled studies put it closer to 5.5. The difference across racial lines is slight; less than a quarter inch.

Are those measurments BP or NBP?

I’m with huff on this. It’s unclear what ‘average’ really is.

The average size of men coming in to him for enlargement surgery would be a smaller average than the general population.
Although a urologist sees lots of dicks, he probably does not see many erections, I would hope.

I hope you don’t think a good percentage of men who go to a urologist intend to be submited to an enlargement surgery.

I would say that’s less than 1%.

According to this "survey" 5.6" is modest, 6.4" is average and 7.1" is "endowed". How he arrived at this conclusion is up for debate, but still it is interesting.
