I guess you call them ULI pulses....
I was doing a mix of ULIs and squeezes etc last night when I think I found a pretty good variation on the ULI. Instead of holding the ULI for a 20-30 second count, I pulsed it real quick over and over expanding then releasing the squeeze. It was like 1-2 seconds hard push, then 1 second off. I did 5 sets of 10-15 pulses per set and I have to say that post workout engorgement was better than I think I’ve ever had. IMO this works on the same principle as JAI’s and DLD’s: The tissue fatigues much quicker when expanded and released over and over. Just like bending metal back and forth quickly builds heat and then breaks the metal.
