infrared lamp

I’ve been looking everywhere for a cheap lamp and the infrared bulbs. I’ve looked at the pharmacy stores and even hardware stores for the bulbs and nothing. And all the desk type lamps I see are halogen type lamps. Please help me, I want a longer dong!

You can find all kind of infrared bulbs in a reptile supply store. There’re many on the internet. I bought one for my python.

I bought my bulb at Home Depot for $7.00. They also have a simple lamp used mostly for garage work that has a clamp on the bottom and a cage to hold the bulb. The lamp costs $10.00.

Right now I’m using the lamp to keep a hole melted in the fish pond. Once the weather breaks, I’ll be using it melt my unit.

It’s necesary to cover the balls when your are using it (hanging or whatever)?
