Injury-Dont be stupid like I was...

Today I will be going to see the good doctor because of my foolish stunt. Here is what happened and what I did…

Approx two weeks ago I hung up the bottom side of my trout on the zipper while taking a piss. Small cut, nothing really bad… A few days later I noticed it was slightly sore so I gave it a closer look.. I thought I had a small infection so being so smart in these things I went to the store to get some Neosporin.

I get home with my Neosporin, drag the old trout out of the pants and think I might as well give the “bump” a little squeeze. Thinking I was going to squeeze out any infection prior to applying the meds. I thought I was squeezing a small zit but what it turned out to be was a vein! Thats right I was squeezing a fucking vein. Now the bastard is swolen up a bit and when I get an erection at night I’m thinking it is slowing the healing of the small cut as well as making it take longer to heal the bulged vein… I’m going to see the good doctor today and make sure there isn’t anything more I can do for it.. Wish me luck!

Having erections will probably speed the healing - newly oxygenated blood going to the site of the injury. Just don’t aggravate the site by stimulating an erection in some wrong way.

That happened to me when I was about 8 years old. I had to ask my grandmother, who was in charge of me then on an outing to unhook me. She was quit wonderful about it. Said something like, “Oh, my. Well, that happens. Let’s get you loose, dear.”

It’s difficult to tell from your description exactly what happened, but in this case a trip to the doctor is probably a good idea. If you managed to cut a vein and it has become infected, you’ll need an antibiotic.

Thanks for all of the well wishes guys! Just got back from the doc. He gave it a good look and prodded around on it a bit then said to keep putting Neosporin on it and “it should work itself out”… He also laughed a bit after I told him what happened..

I get nervous just like the next guy and was pretty “turtled” when I went in there so there was no gasps or anything like that lol..

I cut myself with a small pair of scissors trimming some hair a couple of weeks ago, so I can relate. I’m really glad that this is working itself out! If I was your doc I would have gotten a chuckle out of it, too. :)

Keep an eye on it, though. If you see any Bad Things, go back! You only get one (even if it is as big as two).
