Is baby oil a bad lube?

I started using it recently and LOVE the way it feels — but I notice red bumps I didn’t have before. Any of you experience this? Or has some wayward gutter-snipe given me a microscopic gift … . .

*I measure PRE-WORKOUT, normal erection* Started: 7 EBP x 4.9 EG. Several years on and off PE, now 8.125 EBP length x 5.5 EG midshaft (5.8 base). Working on girth (clamping) again after breaks due to injuries - fast recent gains! Pics

Or maybe I should have referred to it as a small (as in microscopic) token of her affection. (or infection?)

I prefer olive oil.

I prefer aloe.

Just because it’s made for babies, doesn’t mean you can’t have an allergic reaction to it. You could either have a reaction to the mineral oil, or the fragrance. Stop using it for a day or two, and if things clear up, put it on your do not use list.

Real stuff, right from the plant? Or from a bottle? I tried some from a bottle and found that it got pretty sticky. It was real slick at first, then either absorbed or evaporated away, so I gave up. I would be interested to hear how you get along with it.

Thanks

I love using baby oil too and so far have no red bumps.

Any oil can clog pores - could this be the reason for your bumps?

The bumps are from shaving the only thing I don’t like about baby oil is the smell

Absolutely. Plus it comes from petroleum, something that worries me.

I find it very irritant. If a small amount gets into your urethra, you’ll see what I’m talking about. Those bumps you talk about can be the result of this.

One more thing, it dries up fast, so yu have to keep re-oiling while jelqing.

I prefer organic oils.

I have always used baby oil. I use the aloe, vitamin E type.

I find it works best for me.

It keeps my penis healthy, and vitamin E is good for the skin.

Yeah, the aloe is good stuff but it does evaporate/dissappear into the skin… keep the tube nearby to aloe up again and again!

I love it after a marathon PE routine… or for a wet jerk… or in my pocket pussy for great alone sex.

LOL. I really love it.

I get Fruit of the Earth brand which is clear.

ACO, the swedish apothecary brand, makes their babyoil from vegetable oils. I prefer that a lot to the petroleum based ones; they stay “on top of” the skin, whereas the vegetable based baby oil seems to penetrate and soften better.

Perfume free is probably good, too.

Conclusion: not all baby oils are petroleum based, check the fine print on the side of the bottle.
